No it is not funny

I dont think doberman means it as he is laughing at you two. It is hard to explain.

I think we all know when you are upset or hurt by a friend it is a sad time.

Even if someone does think it is funny in a "ha ha you girls are wierdos" type of way dont let it bother you that would just mean they do not understand.

Most of us vaguely remember what it was like to be 12 or 13 - even if it was 40+ years ago. It's not finny when you're going through it. It IS funny in retrospect.

Also, we didn't have the Internet to air the whole thing internationally.

FWIW (for what it's worth, for the acronym-challenged) I've made some friends on Internet forums. I'm involved in a professional forum where we have trade conventions, so sometimes we get to meet those Internet friends in person.

There's one in particular that got mad at me over something I thought was silly. It wasn't silly to him, and he stayed mad for a really long time. Eventually, we patched things up and it's a good thing, because then he had a heart attack and died.

My point is, don't stay mad until one of you gets old and dies, because then it's way too late.

That's my advice. Take it or leave it.
