Wink 21st

My youngest human baby turned 21 on Wednesday. Where have the years gone? I used to associate everything to before or after he was born. Now I forget.
We (me, hubby, & 2 sons) went to the local club for dinner with my 90 y/o mum & my cousin & her husband. Had a fun nite & b/D cake at home. He's going out Friday nite with friends to celebrate.
Two weeks ago, my eldest son who lives 3 1/2 hours away announced that he and his partner were expecting a baby in November, our 1st grandchild.

Congratulations! My mom's oldest is almost eighteen, then the second is almost fifteen, than I am almost fourteen, the fourth is nine, fifth is five, and the sixth is two. And if you count Jaylie...The seventh is eight months!! Now that you're going to be a grandma, you can have all of the joys that comes from that!!

Congratulations!!! And My advice is to listen to what my mom said when i asked her about when i have children . she said " I refuse to be called grandma , I will have them call me by my first name "

Im 9 months removed from being 21 and actually enjoying everything L.A. has to offer. As of right now, 20, is THE MOST pointless age ever.

Ever since I turned 18 I have enjoyed every age. I am now 36 and will be 37 on Sunday. I am not saying every day has been a cake walk but I think each year brings something good that the last year did not have. I plan to age gracefully and be grateful for life at every age. (does that sound dorky?)

I should start a little journal about what I liked best about each age and maybe the worst of that age too. Then when I am like 90 I can have fun looking back.

Nah, sound like you've got it figured out! I wholeheartedly agree with maintaining an "attitude of gratitude" (though I was especially grateful when I had a 21 year old body )

Happy Birthday, peace36!

Enjoy!

Thanks for the b-day wishes

My son that is going to be 2 was born on my birthday so with all the planning for his party I sometimes forget about me, lol. I must say he was the most painful but best present ever!
