Oh, it's just because I don't tell them my first name.
All I do is write my last name on the board (if I even do that). It's not a policy or anything like that, it's just personal preference on my end.

Well... that is true about teachers. But I'm just a substitute teacher. The people in the office know my first name, and some of the teachers do, it's just not made public knowledge to the students.

They probably do... but I wouldn't be in it.
I'm not a sub for just one school. I am available to sub for all the schools in the district (which is about 20 schools).
