Wow, I didn't know MJ had actually died. I just heard on NPR that he went to the hospital this afternoon. Embarrassingly, I have a sneaking suspicion that this is going to be one of those deaths that, years from now, I can remember what I was doing when I found out about it.

What? I didn't hear the Michael was actually gone. I heard he was in UCLA medical center but not that he has passed. It really is sad.... Any death is. What is sad is that the first thing they have to bring up is the child molestation thing. He accomplished a lot too. Would rather hear the good stuff I guess.
Oddly enough, I had heard that Farah was going to be married to her long time boy friend and then the next day, she has passed. I knew she wasn't doing well and it was only a matter of time. Very sad.

This is all so sad. We lost an Angel and the King of Pop all at once. And Ed had just been on The Dog Whisperer with his dog recently (within the past year or so). Why does everyone have to die at once?!

I basically grew up with MJ & Farah & am really sad to hear - about all 3 of them.
I was absolutely shocked to hear about MJ.
May they all rest in peace.

Not to sound harsh but personally, i can't say that i am sad to see him gone.

Sure, he made good music but as a person i did not think too highly of him, having said that, i will withhold my RIP for someone who i believe deserves it more.

TMZ is VERY quick at reporting. They reported before CNN and all the other press releases. It was 3:20 yesterday PST when I heard from a friend that TMZ tweeted it and CNN didnt have it confirmed, and there were no articles in the Google search because they were still writing the story-it was about 3:25 when I started seeing things.

I was in the car when I heard about MJ, coming home from house hunting. At around 3:15 PST it was announced on the radio that MJ had died (the DJ probably got it from TMZ)

See for me, I think everyone deserves peace when the end comes. I really try hard to give respect to everyone, no matter what they did in their lives. It is not always easy but I try. In the case of Michael Jackson, I just felt sorry for him. He may have been rich, but I think he lived a sad and lonely life. I think he was surrounded by morally bankrupt people from the time he was a small child and he had nobody to help him. As far as all his surgeries to make himself look different. I think it is sad that anyone would be so uncomfortable in their own skin. So from me.... Rest in Peace Michael Jackson.
