Let me introduce myself. My name is Kathleen Miller; founder of Angel Halls,
www.angelhalls.org, Angel halls is an education service for professional interested in Animal Assisted Therapy. We also provide elementary education reading encouragement programs as well as community programs in humane education and involvement with Therapy Pet visitation.
This October 14th we are teaming with “United Against Puppy Mills”,
www.unitedagainstpuppymills.org, to raise awareness of the deplorable conditions and detriment to canine health these puppy mills generate. The event is to be held in Lancaster Central Park, in Lancaster Pennsylvania from 10am-3pm. I AM WRITING TO ASK YOU’RE HELP. First would you post this event in your newsletter? Second go to,
www.angelhalls.org, Scroll down to United Against Puppy Mills click, open the file and print copies of the flyer and post anywhere dog lovers congregate. If every organization’s members could do this we could realistically post200- 20,000 flyers per group.
You may or may not know, Lancaster County PA, has the highest concentration of Puppy Mills in the US. Help us bring awareness to this disgrace. What is hidden should be seen. Post the flyers, send a delegation to the event. Help us Please.
We have as celebrity guest and long time dog lover, renowned children’s author, Chris Williams, who has written the early readers series “One Incredible Dog” which honors the incredible things dogs do for people everyday, appearing for the entire event. Mr. Williams, in conjunction with Keene publishing, has generously agreed to donate the profits of this day’s book sales to UAPM. This amounts to appox $5 per book.
