| The article i read said there is a 1 in 45,000 chance it will strike earth http://www.smh.com.au/news/World/UN-...733600417.html
There is way more chance of us blowing ourselves up with nukes before then, or being killed in a car crash, etc, etc. |

NO ONE HERE IS PICKING ON HER, YOU, OR ANY MEMBER ON THIS SITE.

Im going to explain how a discussion forum works because people who get upset clearly dont understand. There are two scenarios on this type of a site: A
1. Someone makes a thread about a specific subject
2. We all DISCUSS the subject MATURELY
3. If all goes well, the Topic dies out on its own and we move on B
1. Someone makes a thread about a specific subject
2. We start discussing the subject, but then someone comes in and ridicules the intelligence of others
3. We then try to reason with that person who refuses to listen and continues to disregard the opinion of others
4. Everyone gets either pissed or chooses to make fun of the newly discovered ignorance.
5. Mods either lock/delete the thread or ban people.

| Don't worry, ilovemychihuahua. When people say they are leaving a forum forever, they're usually posting again within 24 hours. For siberian husky lover 12, it was more like 3 minutes.
I once stayed away from a forum I was mad at for about two weeks, but the self-control needed to do that required two decades of intense training at the secret Shaolin temple in Waukesha, Wisconsin. (Well, it WAS a secret.) Even then, it nearly killed me.
I don't think siberian husky lover 12 has lived long-enough yet to develop that kind of discipline. |

Oh, grasshopper, you have much to learn. | I meant to ask you this in the other thread. Which kind of Presbyterian are you? (PCA/PCUSA/OPC) I'm PCA.
Oh... and to keep this post on topic... AN ASTEROID IS COMING!!! |

I'm PCUSA. Does that mean we are doomed to be mortal enemies? |

I'm much more likely to find a religious forum and try to tell them about my dog.
I was still a non-practicing Catholic when the PCA split from the PCUSA and I have only a little knowledge about the basis. Regardless, I have never let my denomination dictate my personal theology so, if I want to argue, it just as likely to be with someone from my own congregation. |

I neither agree nor disagree with your thread. It just is.
However, I'm not worried about an asteroid hitting the earth. If it hits, it hits. It's not like there's anything I can do to stop it from happening... so there's really no point in me worrying about it. If it does hit... we'll all be dead.
If it doesn't, we'll all eventually die anyways.
I know where I'm going when I die... so I'm not worried about when my death-day finds me. |

I replied for the same reason you'd reply to a thread in which you wanted to comment.
I don't understand why you're making such a big deal about me being apathetic towards an asteroid hitting the earth. |
