All time favorite movies

I thought it would be fun to compile a list of everyone's all time favorite movies.

I have 3.

The sweetest thing- Cameron Diaz and Christina Applegate are just SOOOO funny in this movie.

Cruel Intentions- I developed a huuuuge crush on Ryan Phillippe after this movie, but it's just so deceitful.. I dunno

The Notebook- Because I'm a girl... duh. lol

What are yours?

Thumbs down Re: All time favorite movies

My #1 fav is "Friday". I just laugh hysterically every time I see it.

The Sixth Sense comes in a close second, Borat after.

EDIT: I don't know how a "thumbs down" got in my post, and I can't seem to delete it! Total accident.

Right now my favorite movie is Hot Fuzz. So hilarious...and disgusting at the same time...lol

Re: All time favorite movies

Ahjeeze, movies are one of my favorite pastimes. It'd be hard to just pick a few 'top favorites' :P Here are some I never fail to love, though...

-Lord of the Rings Trilogy: I know, I know...I'm a bit of a nerd. I LOVE the books though, and adore the movies just as well. Some of the first fantasy books I read that really concreted my interest in the genera.
-Christmas with the Kranks: The movie itself isn't all that spectacular, but once again I love it for the book ties. It's based on the book 'Skipping Christmas' by John Grisham...and man I musta read that book 50 times by now. I have a big overbearing family and many of the occurrences in the story just make me scream "I could see that happening to us...."
-Batman Begins/The Dark Knight: Batman has been my favorite superhero ever since I was a kid growing up in a house full of boys. I did not however, particularly like the old Batman movies. Though the new ones are never far from my dvd player these days.
-Die Hard Series: Do I even need to comment on these? They're just great.
-Indiana Jones Series: I haven't seen the latest one (and don't particularly plan to) but the first three are classic oldies. I watched these with my dad growing up after I'd come home from school...so lots of memories too.
-Most of old Disney movies: I'm a big disney fan. I'd live at Disney World if I could...

...yeah, I'm a big action junkie.

I could go on an on, but it's probably best I don't Many of the movies listed previously would also make my list...you guys have all got good taste

Re: All time favorite movies

I only buy movies that I'm willing to watch over and over again, so my dvd collection is small. It includes:

The Three Amigos
Young Frankenstein
Contact
Love Actually
The Princess Bride
Sense and Sensibility
several versions of Pride and Prejudice
all of Eddie Izzard's shows
a handful of animated Disney movies
a bunch of musicals
