| My pumpkin contest entry Ok, this is what I've been doing all week, my pumpkin contest entry for my kids school...afterward people bid on them and the money goes to the school...it's Pikachu, in case you don't know....I'm really happy with it, I thought it would be the worst, but when I dropped it off today, I thought it was one of the best compared to what was there already... |

| Re: My pumpkin contest entry Wow, that is fantastic! We don't do anything with pumpkins around here, so when I saw your thread I thought it would be one of those jack-o-lantern things, where you cut the fact out... anyway, great job, it looks cute. |

I carved a pumpkin back in middle school that was so detailed it took me 3 hours! Pumpkins are fun. Hope you win! |

| Re: My pumpkin contest entry Thanks guys! We were told to "decorate" it, so most people painted theirs. There was only one last night that was carved. I'll get some other pictures today...some of them didn't even look like pumpkins anymore. One person cracked theirs open and painted it white to make an egg, someone made Cinderella's coach, which was one of the ideas I considered, glad I didn't do it, and then on the other end of the spectrum, one was just polka dotted and one was painted red with "go red sox" written on it. |

And your daughter is beautiful! | Yeah, the Nemo people enter every year...last year they did Harry Potter with Harry on one side and Dumbledore on the other, and before that was Aslan from Chronicles of Narnia.
And thanks for the compliment on my daughter...she's a really good kid too, animal lover of course. |

| Re: My pumpkin contest entry Well my pumpkin didn't win, I actually don't have a picture of the winner, but it wasn't nemo....Pikachu was auctioned off for $31 though, which I hear was one of the higher prices. Thanks for the compliments everyone! |

| Re: My pumpkin contest entry Oh darn Sorry you didn't win..but at least you helped support a good cause I hated how my teachers had to buy their own school supplies! I hope this money helps them out..or new text books..or something else along the same lines.
Who won? Like, what did the pumpkin look like? |
