MLB Anyone?

i thought i'd copy off of the NFL thread.

Since baseball season is coming to a close, I was wondering if we have any baseball fans out there..

So who do you guys think will make it to the series this year??

What are some of your favorite teams???

I am a huuuuge Phillies fan and again things are waaaaaay to close for comfort this year in the NL East with the Phillies and the Mets...I can only hope that it goes our way again this year...

As far as the AL goes, I really have no preference as long as its not the Red Sox...hahah..sorry bostoners..

OK, I'll probably get some slack for this as I did for loving the Pats...

RED SOX! Die hard fan since birth. My Dad's a season ticket holder (inherited from my grandfather) so we go to tons of games. I loved them when they sucked, and love them now. Doesn't hurt that Jacoby is red hot and so cute, he's my new crush

They'll get the wild card spot, and take it to the World Series. Who they play in the World Series I can't guess, I don't follow any other team except to see how bad the Yankees do. hehe No offense Yankee fans.

Playoffs - I see of course the Rays vs Sox.

The Cubs may actually make it, but hopefully they won't win. How ironic would that be if they did.
The Cards, my team, are out... which is disappointing but not surprising. They got off to a good start, but have slowly deteriorated.
I say the Cubs and the Rays.
In that case, Go Rays.

I thought this thread needed to be revived since we are now in the midst of a world series. Thank god the Cubs lost. So now I hope the Phillies win it!

I'm rooting for the Phillies too, unfortunately. If it can't be the Sox, it's them by default.

Don't worry jbray! They won the first game and they are going back to Philly tomorrow, so that's a good sign!

They did look pretty bad last night though. Sorry.

i know i know!! we just have to back up our pitchers with some..uh...ahem let me think...oh, i know... HITTING!

lets just hope they win these next three games so we can take the series at home!
