Concerts..

So, anyone going to any concerts, or been to any good ones lately? My husband just got us tickets to see ZZ Top at the Ryman in October. Front and center!!! I am pretty excited, considering we have not been to any concerts together in a long time. He gets free tickets for stuff all the time (he deals with a lot of musicians at work) and usually I can't go because it is last minute (like the day of) and I typically can't get a babysitter that fast. I think the last concert we went to together (other than live Nashville Star shows that our good friend produces) was Kid Rock like 6 or 7 years ago.

You have been busy huh? With work and all those concerts, how do you find the time to be on here so much? LOL

Yeah, live in sitter.. not gonna happen. I can think of so many things I would rather spend nanny money on... haha

Honestly, even if I DID have the extra cash for a nanny/au pair, I would not do it. It would just be nice to have a reliable sitter close by that I could call at the last minute, but have not found one yet. Luckily my mom is close by and can watch the kiddo when I need her to most of the time. And she is FREE.

Re: Concerts..

SLK and I went to Projekt Revolution a couple of weeks ago, with Linkin Park headlining. It was awesome. XD We got there a little later than we'd planned, but there were quite a few good bands there, so it was great.

Mmm, Rise Against...I saw them open for...My Chemical Romance, I think, last year. They were awesome, and I'd love to see them again.

I wanted to see Foo Fighters this year, too, but they had to cancel their Red Rocks show...They'll be back in November to make it up, I believe.

Re: Concerts..

We saw Corey Smith a few months ago, it was great! He's from Atlanta and not a mainstream label kind of guy, but we like him a lot!

Re: Concerts..

Probably the biggest disappointment for me lately was missing the Raconteurs. My DH knows Patrick (the drummer) and he got free tickets (the day of the show) and I couldn't go (no sitter on a school night)!!!! I was soooo bummed.

Re: Concerts..

I LOVE MCR! That was the best concert ever. I loved Linkin Park too. I have also seen Paramore and Yellowcard. I think that is all the concerts I have been to. All of them except Yellowcard I have seen with Katzyn.
