BAD DRIVERS.... PET PEEVE!!!! grrrrrr
What are some of yours? I'm sure I will be back with more... lol |

| Re: What are your pet peeves??? Post here :D I also have a problem with bad/rude/crazy/inconsiderate drivers. And we have this one totally jacked up intersection by our house that is just a disaster waiting to happen. People will sit and wait even when it is their turn to go, while I wait for them to go, then motion to me like I should have turned, when it was THEIR turn. DRIVES ME NUTS!!!! Even my 8 year old son says "Mom, I HATE this intersection, and why are these people not moving??" haha
My "pet" peeve, is all the people in my neighborhood who are irresponsible with their pets. I won't go into detail, but let's just put it this way: the majority of them have no business having pets at all. Especially the people with the cat that keeps crapping in my yard and mulch. ahhhhhhh!!!
I could think of plenty more, but I won't bore you... |

| Re: What are your pet peeves??? Post here :D Yes, what did happen with the do not call list!? This is too funny...I just got a call from a credit card company...one that I have, and they were offering fraud protection. You know, companies you do business with can call you as often as they like, sometimes daily. Well, I haven't used this card much, so I canceled it. That'll teach 'em.
I have an affinity towards being annoyed by people who eat with their mouth open. I even give Elsa the evil eye when she's eat'n noisy. So, I'm also not a very good at-the-theater company...I'm always staring down the loud mouth chewing their noisy popcorn. In the same breath, I'm easily annoyed by people who lick their fingers while eating. If said popcorn eater decides to lick his fingers too, look out, people are going to be screaming Jerry! Jerry! Jerry! Actually, not really, I just simmer and brew, and I'm sure to cut that person off when entering the aisle to leave.
Lastly, when I'm upset, just leave me alone. I don't want to talk about it or resolve it. Yes, I know Windows Vista is crap, but you telling me about it and offering to fix it doesn't help *me*. I want to internalize it, digest it, and perhaps throw the frig'n computer out the window. Chances are I'll be more level headed in doing so, not in talking about it. |

| Re: What are your pet peeves??? Post here :D Some of my pet peeves are:
*Having to seat next to a person who grinds his/her teeth (whether awake or asleep!)
*Having to watch people eating the food that grosses me out
*Kids riding bikes without helmets
*Parents who tell their children to stay away from my dogs because THEY are gunna eat them.. (seriously?????)
*Home owners whose lawn grasses are taller than their houses
*Having to wait for people who say they will come but wont
There's tons more but I cant think of all of them at the moment.. =) I will post again later.. |

| Re: What are your pet peeves??? Post here :D Oh, and had to add this, although it is not exactly *my* peeve, but my husband's. He will absolutely lose it on people who blow their nose at the table or if they are sitting at a table near ours while we are out to eat. I guess I can drown it out or don't really think about it, but it eats him up when someone is ridding their nose of snot while he is trying to eat. He also will call someone out if he catches them "double dipping" if we are eating something dip-able with them. He will totally be like "Dude, you did NOT just double dip that carrot stick!!!" haha Quote:

Cooper was heeling nicely at my side and the little girl walked by and lightly brushed his head with her hand and her mom had a fit saying loudly so I could hear (even though it was her fault, if she didn't want her kid to touch my dog she should have grabbed her before she walked over by us) "I TOLD YOU NOT TO TOUCH THAT DOG!!!" I wanted to ask her if the kid was allergic or something, or if she though my dog was going to eat her kid, or what. How rude!!!!

Who knows, maybe she has a terrible habit of walking up to strange dogs and her mother even warned her not to do it beforehand. *shrug*
Off the top of my head..
People driving while talking on cell phones. I understand that sometimes it's unavoidable but it seems that 98% of the nimrods I encounter on the city streets are holding a cell. It drives me crazy.
Unsolicited advice. I just decided that I HATE this yesterday while at the feed store picking up my regular dog food. I was browsing around looking for something new to put in the "doggy gumball machine" and the checker started going on and on about changing the diet too often making dogs finicky. I disagreed and said it seems to ME that if you always give them something different- they wouldn't be finicky and she said "No! It will make them finicky" Now I don't know if theres much truth to that but it took all of my willpower not to tell her to "stfu and just check me out."

| Re: What are your pet peeves??? Post here :D Hmm pet peeves, I have a lot of them.
Dog related:
1. Pit bull owners who are against illegal dog fighting, but are all for "matching" pits against other pits because "its what in their history". FIGHTING IS FIGHTING IDIOITS, and if you want your breed to make it into the next century you better change your views and do something else with your dogs!
2. Kids who run up to you when you have your dog(s) with you even though you have told them EVERYDAY FOR THE LAST 4 MONTHS not too.
Life:
1. People who come into a store to shop in the last hour before the store closes and tear through everything leaving a path of destruction behind them.
2. People who see you working on something like down an isle, and stare you down because you are in their way, so you pickup everything that is on the ground to let them pass, and they walk to THE OTHER END OF THE ISLE to look at one thing and then move on. This also goes for people who push their carts down isles that are full of boxes and flatbeds.
3. people who don't understand that no matter how much you yell, scream, cuss, or cry, we can't change the rules for you.
4. Close MEANS GET OUT not shop around for another 15 to 20 mins then get mad when someone comes up to you and nicely asks you to head up to the check lanes.
(can anyone tell I had a bad night at work last night??)
Turn signals also bother me. They are there for a reason, use them!
People who pull out in front of you as your driving down the road which makes you slam on your brakes even though there is not a SINGLE car for at least a MILE behind you. I'm a calm driver but THIS one makes me so mad I could scream.
Ok, I'm done... for now

| Re: What are your pet peeves??? Post here :D "pet" peeves from the grooming gallery:
When an owner drops off their dog saying he/she's got a few "tangles", ummm excuse me but your dog is felted from head to toe in a solid mat!!
When someone forgets their grooming appt. and then expects you to cram their dog into a day that's already jam packed with dogs whose owners did NOT forget
when an owner wants their double-coated dog shaved down and I explain i don't do that and why, they argue with me why I should do it for them anyway.
People who own a dog that sheds and want it shaved to the skin so they don't have to deal with...dog hair...::shudder:: Pet peeves from everyday life:
People who drive under the speed limit, move the he** over then!
People who leave their messes for someone else to take care of for them
People who take their exhausted toddlers out to the store and give them whatever they might be screaming for just to make them be quiet, nice lesson there Einstein, next trip is bound to be a repeat performance.
People who let their dogs run simply because they live in the country,as if the neighbors a mile away will be less annoyed by a loose dog than right next door, or ads to rehome dogs stating they need "room to run".
Someone repeatedly belching ( very loudly btw) while I'm eating my lunch next to them. Yes, there's a girl I work with who does this and it just grosses me out, once is no big deal, but like 10 times during the lunch hour is just ridiculous
The fact that children in our society seem more and more less likely to use common courtesys like please and thank you
I'm sure I'll think of more, but that's a pretty good start |

| Re: What are your pet peeves??? Post here :D - People with really bad manners, I mean nothing fancy or sophisticated manners wise, just people who don't say please or thank you.
- tourists
- loose dogs
- kids who ignore me when I say no don't pet her, or don't ask at all if they can pet my dog
- people who assume my dog is aggressive because I tell them not to pet her (she is not! she just isn't one of those dogs who will jump in anyone's lap and lick their face, you can stop & talk to me, walk by us, heck even run by us or up to us, just don't pet her- she don't like it, she isn't even aggressive if the person don't listen and tries to pet her, she just tries to get away from them)
- BSL in general...
-people who ask for advise and don't listen (ie. Person asks: "I'm using cedar shavings for my guinea pig, what is the best kind of bedding to use?" I answer "I'd recommend Apsen, carefresh, or fleece, as cedar has chemicals that can cause liver damage" then the person replies "my guinea pig likes her cedar shavings, they are fine" *slams head into desk*) |

I thought of another one: When people say "oh what a nice boy", "hey ya buddy boy", etc etc to my Belle. Do they not see the PINK collar, the PINK leash, the HEART-SHAPED id tag. LOL, oh well |
