I'm not sure how many Beatles or Lennon fans are on here, but figured I'd ask just in case...
I am a HUGE Beatles fan. I LOVE The Beatles and specifically John Lennon. I think he was absolutely an amazing artist and an amazing person. He had such a brilliant mind and desire to change the world, and those kinds of attitudes I think we are really lacking these days.
Anyway... lately I'm having trouble reading fiction. This has been going on for months. I use to read several books a month but lately just can NOT get into it no matter how hard i try. I've got about 7 books sitting on my shelf that are either half read or lent to me by people who said I just HAVE to read them.
Since I want to get back into reading, and I love John Lennon I figured why not combine those two things? I looked on Amazon and found several that look interesting. Since I can't actually order anything online, and I know Jared wouldn't order these for me and have me pay him back cuz he doesn't support my love for The Beatles LOL so I think I'll see if the Library can order any for me... the longer the list the more likely I'll get a couple that I want.
So here's what I have so far...
- "In His Own Write" - John Lennon
- "Skywriting by Word of Mouth" - John Lennon
- Peace at Last: The After-Death of John Lennon" - John Lennon
- "From Liverpool to Abbey Road" - John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ron Manus, and L.C. Harnsberger
- "John Lennon - Guitar Collection" - John Lennon (this one I REALLY want)
- "John Lennon in his own Words" - John Lennon, Barry Miles, and Pearce Marchbank
If anyone knows of any other good books about and/or by John Lennon please let me know!
