Father/Daughter Dance Song

Well my wedding in October 10, 2009, I know its still far away but since day one I have been planning all the *songs* to dance to.

This is what I have so far:

Our first dance song, picked by my SO. He went through a rough time in the Navy, and I went through a rough time myself, he was always the guy who's shoulder I cried on about other guys hurting me:

And it is between these two songs for my father-daughter dance song. The first one is Tim McGraw- and the only thing I dont like is the line that says, "He wont be good enough" But here

But I just found this one last week. It's called cinderella, and every time I listen to it.. i just stop and listen. It makes me think this is the one, but its hard to choose. I want it to be special!

Please listen to the song called "I saw her first" by Heartland. It is a great song for a father and daughter. Good luck in your search

Re: Father/Daughter Dance Song

Those are nice songs JEN! I am yet to have a real wedding.. but when I do, this is the song I'd want to dance with my grampa (he became my dad when my biological dad left us when I was very little).

All are great songs. Tough decision. I think whatever you pick it will be special and you will be happy with your choice. When I listened to them I got chills!! Keep us posted on what you pick.

Re: Father/Daughter Dance Song

I am an assisant dj and I can have the main dj email you some suggestions for wedding songs as those are the main party's he does. The songs listed on this topic are the most popular with our clients but we did have one where the father and daughter danced to Thriller by Michael Jackson.

Cinderella for sure! It has such a powerful meaning (especially LIVE!). One of my favorite songs of all time. I'm glad you found it; when I saw the title I was going to suggest it anyway.
