I've always been undecided on a favorite college football team. After what Appalachian State did to Michigan last year, I think I'll be an Appalachian State fan for a week.
Yeah, it looks like it is going to hit. When and where are the big questions. You hope it doesn't hit where you're at, but you don't want it to hit somebody else either. That's the problem with living in the gulf area. I have friends and family in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. No matter where it goes, it's going to get somebody. Hopefully it won't get too bad.
Well, they just moved the game from 4pm to 10am on Saturday morning. That stinks, because I'm going to volunteering at the humane shelter until noon tomorrow. I'm gonna TiVo it and hopefully nobody tells me what happens. I think ESPN is going to put it on ESPN Classics.
Yeah, I still check the Advocate online everyday and I get e-mails when there is a breaking story. It is now posted on lsusports.net if you want to check it out.
You should be thankful they moved the game up. Imagine dealing with a hurricane and Appalachian State... LSU will have enough to deal with in the 3 TIME FCS NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!!
So, Mr. Hillbilly Mountaineer Appalachian State Football Team supporter...I can assure you of one thing.
You may arrive in Baton Rouge with a prideful strut after earning a third consecutive FCS (DI-AA) championship, and the helmet of a U of M Wolverine may be mounted on the wall of your double wide back home—but your walk will not exactly be the same when you leave Tiger Stadium Saturday Afternoon.
You’ll be heading back to North Carolina with a different swagger—not one of euphoria after taking down the Div. I defending national champion, but more like a gentile hobble...after getting your coonskin hat shoved up your musket.
Goliath, perhaps you haven't met David? 31-0 at the half is in the game plan. Ya know, inflate those LSU heads, and when they are least suspecting...POP! Wait and see, the final score will be 32-31, APPALACHIAN STATE, and Puddles approved.
