| A New Personal Best! She said it couldn't be done. After fifteen minutes of turmoil and agony, I got it.
128 items (including individual flatware pieces). Shatters my previous record of 109. Headed off to slumber land feeling like a winner. |

| Re: A New Personal Best! If that were my dishwasher not only would you have to rinse the dishes before loading, but after filing it to that capacity you'd have to hand wash them after using the dishwasher.
BTW, I'm in the market for a new dishwasher, if your dishwasher can clean a load that large, what brand is it? |

| Re: A New Personal Best! You're lucky you arent my husband or you'd be creating a NEW personal best. How quickly you can rewash all the dishes that didnt get washed the first time you loaded it with 128 seperate items.
This is preceisly why my SO is not allowed to load the dishwasher, only empty it. |

Yeah, if my Fiancé ever did that He would be setting the record for how fast his butt would be on the couch for the night. |

Both of them are very very very good guys. Very respectful of women and very helpfun around the house. In fact I just got out of the bedroom, I was steam cleaning it after Chances projectile episode, and Erik had both emptied AND loaded the dishwasher. AND wiped down the counter.s

| Re: A New Personal Best! Pfft. Clean as a whistle. Growing up my Grandma ingrained the pre-rinse habit into me. Right after eating I rinse things before the grime gets fused to it.
Here you go Curb...
OT: For a not so good time walking yours dogs, have some random stranger throw an egg mcmuffin at you from a moving car... None of us escaped unscathed. That's all I'm going to say about that... |

They are in fact clean. The only thing that doesn't get completely done is drying. They all come out water spotted like a beached whale. That bothers my mom when she see it, but water spots don't get to me. |

| Re: A New Personal Best! I am printing this off and pasting to the wall by the dishwasher for a reference for my son. The dishwasher is full to him with 2 pans and 3 plates and a few glasses. He has no idea how to arrange to get more in. |

I will keep you in my prayers then... Quote:

| Re: A New Personal Best! Hehe, I like to do that, too! I also do stuff like putting ferret litterboxes in there (separate cycle from the human dishes!). Except my dishwasher broke last year and I haven't gotten a new one yet. I'm thinking of a Kenmore, they seem to be decent. I'm sure any new dishwasher will do a better job than any older dishwasher.....I was surprised at how much better my new fridge is, and my electric bill went down by $20 a month!
I tried using JetDry, but there was a gross sticky film all over the dishes every time I used it, and it made me concerned about having chemicals all over my dishes . I'd rather have water spots. I also tried putting a scoopful of baking soda in the second soap dish, and that worked a little. There was still some water spotting, but it wasn't as bad. |
