| Westward, Ho! As an update on our moving situation - we did find a place to rent (a house with a yard), and moved to Illinois last week. DH went ahead with all our stuff, and I followed with the fish and the dogs. I took a bunch of pics as we went along...
The morning the dogs, fish and I left, and one last shot of the apt:
A big, pretty moth that was on the wall of the apt as I was packing:
Kim started off in the front seat, as the back was full enough that available space for the dogs was about equal:
Webster sat behind me:

But at least I had the varying scenery to keep me amused (sarcasm):

A house!? Come on people!
But I had birthday CDs to keep me serene...ish (was given them early for the trip):

Found this sign...interesting:
Switched the dogs around...Webster was eager to get back on the road:
Kim...not so much:

| Re: Westward, Ho! "Are we there yet?"
"Are we there yet?"
"Is that it?"
"I give up...we'll never make it..."
We did make it, and we're done unpacking now. Everyone's starting to get used to this being "home" and figuring out where things are in the area.
*All done!*
ETA: And look...I even finished before midnight, at least according to my new time zone!

Having Webster in the front was pretty entertaining though...he's so dramatic about everything. Kim just resigns herself and sleeps it out (which is what I do if I don't have to drive). Quote:

| Re: Westward, Ho! Thanks all
Illinois is ... alright so far. We'll see if it grows on me. I like our house...outside of that I'm still deciding, haha.
MMM - Are you saying I can't sing? If so...you would likely be right, haha |
