Camera choosing help.

Okay. So I am looking for a new camera.
I have a nice Canon Rebel EOS G, very nice..but it's older so it works with film. I don't mind, but film and getting it developed is exspensive when I take sooooo many pictures.

I am thinking Canon or Nikon. I want a Nikon D40..but a little too expensive... Lol. I want a camera that is.. SLR type..but digital..and not so exspensive. I like having all the manual stuff.
So I have
Uhmm..I really don't have a Canon chosen. I want something that is a nice camera..but not tooo much money.

So um..help.

If you have already got lenses for your Canon, you should stick with Canon (after checking to make sure the lenses are compatible). I use a Digital Rebel XT, which is not the newest or best model by any means, but it takes some excellent photos and is good enough for me for now. A Digital Rebel body isn't all that expensive anymore.

That would be a good idea to just get the body, BUT..I don't have any lenses. The camera was my moms she got from a friend..they didn't really buy anything for it. So I don't have lenses..just whatever it came with.

Re: Camera choosing help.

I dont have too much time right now but I do want to say this. Have you thought about a sony? I am ordering this camera tomorrow: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...pr_product_top Here is another good camera, my sister has it: http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Cybershot.../dp/B000BPCWEQ
Now if your looking at the prices on those websites click on the link "used and new" especially on my sisters camera link It says it's $600 I think, and my sister got it for $300 2 years ago so I really dont understand that price....
