Banned

Anyone else notice that alot of our regular members have been banned from the boards lately? I was bored and reading everyones profiles today and I just noticed it. But I haven't seen anyone runing around breaking all the rules, I guess the mods must be good at cleaning things up and keeping it peaceful for us.

Re: Banned

I noticed that too, the only ones I've noticed so far are Durbkat, Mr. Pooch, and borzoimom.

Re: Banned

Durb got banned too?? I hope these are only temporary bans.

I'll ask again...anyone have an email for Dom (Mr Pooch)? I'm not sure he'll come back even if the ban gets lifted but I would really like to get in touch with him...

Re: Banned

Yeah I was going to ask the same thing Friends...
It's amazing that they got banned, and no offense, but several others have had some really controversial stuff and they're still here...
I'm getting really disheartened with this

Re: Banned

There is another thread in which RonE explained why certain members were banned (in general) as opposed to others. He also explains that it is temporary.

Re: Banned

I find the posting of banning publicly a bit strange. That is private...and should be between the member and the mods. I guess like the "rep" issue...this is a software thing that cannot be altered? That's unfortunate.

We would worry if we didn't know they were banned. If a regular like durb or pooch suddenly disappeared without being banned people would notice.

Re: Banned

seems like they'd notice either way...so why not give them the benefit of some dignity LOL. The word "vacation" has sucha nicer ring to it..dont you think? Then one could PM a mod when one was in fact ON vacation to be set to "vacation" and those here would never know which it was...LOL.

or alternatively a 24 notice that your vacation starts tomorrow...then you'd be free to PM someone here and let them know...if you wanted to.

ahh that perfect world.
