Re: Ebay

Unless you are bidding on a car or antiques, ebay is just a giant failure.

Re: Ebay

I've bought a few things off of eBay, and I got away with selling a World of Warcraft account on there once.

Things I bought mostly included rare and hard to find video games.
I only buy things with a "Buy Now!" price, though. I hate bidding.

Re: Ebay

I haven't eBayed much of late. I used to hit it pretty hard. But the deals there aren't really deals anymore..everyone is trying to screw ya on shipping...and honestly...Amazon typically has better prices on anything I might want on eBay..safer to buy at Amazon too. Not to mention the bidding bots that make the playing field decidedly unlevel.

But for rare stuff I suppose it might be a good resource.

Re: Ebay

Well, I tried to take a picture of it and then dropped my camera.....Now it's broken. It already had a bunch of other stuff thats broken but nothing that prevented me from using it at all (Like I couldnt zoom anymore and the switch was broken so I had to stick my nail in it to use the switch). But now the actual lens is broken and it wont come out all the way so it wont focus. But here is the picture from the auction.

I love it. I havent opened the plexiglass case yet though.

Re: Ebay

I used to not mind pokemon, but then it got really dumb. The boys I babysit are obsessed with pokemon. (You know those 3 ring, 4 inch card protectos? One of the boys has one of them packed with pokemon cards. It can't even shut all the way.) But they like the new ones too.

About once a week we have someone swinging by our place to drop something off to our neighbor, and we send them his way. (To clarify, my town can't count, we have 3 addresses for the same house, 102, 103, and 1025. ) He buys stuff off Ebay all the time without any problems outside of having UPS dropping the stuff off one house off.

Re: Ebay

Sorry that I caused you to break your camera!

A similar thing happened to mine where the lense wouldn't come out after I dropped it and when I sent it in for repair they sent me a crappier model that takes more batteries and has a smaller screen.

Re: Ebay

It was on its way out anyway. Plus my birthday isnt too far off (July 20th). I'm hoping for a new one for my birthday. I just talked to my mom about it. But it shouldnt be a problem since I wouldnt mind if that was my only present.

Re: Ebay

I buy things on there and have found some really good deals on stuff! So far I've never been burned. I love bidding. It's fun.

Mostly I get used cell phones now as I lose them often.

Re: Ebay

I LOVE EBAY!
i collect aquamarine, and i always get it from there.
here is my advice to anyone who likes ebay: whenever someone has bidded higher than you, and you really want the item, wait until there is like a minute left, and then bid higher than them, and you win.
