The dog I hate the most...

I really love dogs.I love every breed of them wheter there very smart or slow learners, big or smar, shor haired or long haired but there is a dog who bit me while walking down the street.I like the breed still but hate the dog who did it.The dog breed that did it was a German Shepherd.I hate that dog who did it but I love the breed and might get one but will teach it to not bite other people!

I'm sorry you were bitten, but I'm glad you realize that when you get your dog, you will be the one that is responsible for the training. Instead of hating the dog that bit you, how about recognizing that its owners were not as responsible as you are going to be, and are the ones to blame because they did not teach their dog not to bite. It's not surprising that an untrained dog acts like an untrained dog.

Would you care to share the circumstances that led to the bite? Maybe there's something you can do to keep it from happening again. Also, it's important that you let someone know about this incident, both to protect it from happening to others, and to make sure that the dog has had it's rabies shot.

Post Thanx for handling this so well

You are every unjudgemental to not accuse the breed. I know way to many peolpe that would have called the breed dangerous and horrable.
I'm also glad to hear that you have learn from it, and that you will try your hardest as a responsible dog owner that you want to train your dog properly to aviod your dog biting other people. That's what I call an accountable dog owner. And DogAdvocate is right. You should let the owners know of their dogs behavor, and make sure that your health hasn't been affected any by the bite. You have handled your predicament well Allie.
