My whole apartment building could come down

Well sorta For the last...6 months or so the whole building has been making weird noises. Every time it is after someone turns off their water. About 6 months ago it only made a small noise occasionally after I turned off the shower or sinks. It progressively got worse, now the noise shakes the whole building a little and it doesnt only happen when we turn off our faucets but also when other apartments turn off their faucets.

Today I took a bath. I got out and drained it at about 6pm. Just 5 minutes ago at around 7:15pm a man knocked on my door. He told me he was the maintenance man and he said there was a leak in the apartment below me. He said not to take baths for a while until they figure it out because the people downstairs are a pain in the butt

I havent complained or told the office about the noise before. I really hope they can figure it out without having to kick us out or work in our apartment all day or something like that.

Wow, that sucks. Its not as bad as our apartment. The people's upstairs tub was leaking and rotted and molded out our bathroom ceiling below the tub so the landlord removed it and sold our apartment building so everytime they took a bath or shower it poured into our tub and all over the floor because it went into the exposed molded insulation and dripped onto everything else till the new landlord fixed the leak, replaced the insulation and put a new ceiling up.

Re: My whole apartment building could come down

The important things are fixed. We don't have a towel rack or a toilet paper holder or soap dishes. The previous landlord renovated all of the other apartments with new things and he ran out of money I guess and he started on our bathroom, he replaced the tile that had collasped in one spot from all the water. and he put a new sink/cabinet combo, mirror, bath tub but left the leaking tub because he said he'd fix it once the people upstairs got evicted for not paying rent. Well they never got evicted and he sold the place. Then the new people took several months to fix the leak and replace the things in my previous post.
