Re: Bree's Paddock Shelter under construction.

Todays progress update. Desperately trying to get as much done as we can before the fall out from Tropical Storm Alma begins tonight. They're predicting up to 15 inches of rain within the next two days, starting tonight.

Good Luck Chrissy. Hope the guys can get a little more done before the storm hits, but it looks like Bree would have some protection from the rain with what's up now.

Check in often so we know you're ok down there...

Re: Bree's Paddock Shelter under construction.

Thanks Reno, We'll be fine, we got tarps up over most of what hasn't been thatched and got sand down over the worst spots. Did our best for tonight.

Now I have to worry about Bree eating sand. she was mouthing it a lot after I turned her out. I'm hoping she decides it's nothing interesting. When I left, she had lost interest and gone back to her haypile.

Shaina? If I have blue tarp all over my horse shelter, does that make me an asshat?

Ominous sky.

Working after dark.

LMAO Chrissy...if instead of making your horse a shelter, you tie a blue tarp to the horse and call that shelter, then you are an asshat

We're only missing two windows and the tack room.

The stalls.

From the imaginary tackroom.

Your place is BEAUTIFUL! I wish my paddocks had all of those pretty trees. Lovely lady you've got there too!
