| Re: YOUR favorite smells Hmm...some good ones on here...
I'd have to say:
Coffee
Snow (it almost smells like nothing, but that's when you realize that it smells like "nothing" because it's overpowering and covering everything else...I just LOVE snow)
Indian spices/food
Ocean air
Freshly shampooed Zoe |

| Re: YOUR favorite smells I love horse smell too. People who don't know assume that it smells just like manure, but I think it's really a mix of dust, hay and grain.
I also love sandalwood and patchouli. |

Beer
Coffee
Bacon-- no matter how full I am, the smell of bacon always makes me hungry.
The way a carnival smells-- the french fries, hotdogs, cotton candy, pop corn with the lingering smell of exhaust from the ride's engines, the people that are coming and going. |

| Re: YOUR favorite smells Wow, I am surprised by the response this got after that first post by DOBERMAN--still trying to figure that one out.
Anyway, some excellent ones that i didn't mention that others did, such as:
campfire
gasoline (Ella's mom, I like to breathe in this one, too. Probably not good for the brain cells)
marijuana (again, probably not good for the brain cells)
onions!
Clinique Happy perfume
Turquatic perfume by MAC |

| Re: YOUR favorite smells Most of mine have already been taken but -
New books
Rain
Mowed Grass
Barn smell
Fireplaces
Christmas trees
I'm kind of the odd one out in that I don't like puppy breath. I suspect it may have to do with working at the HS though. Most of the puppies there have breath that smells of medicine (or at least, I think it does. A friend of mine says them smell of normal puppy smells) and it really turns me off

| Re: YOUR favorite smells oooooohhhhhhhhh! laundry that's been hung outside to dry....
Yankee Candle Cottage Breeze (smells like fresh ocean air)
Yankee Candle Midsummer Night (smells like thunder storms)
Yankee Candle Cucumber and Melon - nice fresh clean smell...
(There are several other Yankee Candle smells but I won't bore you all with them.)
woodburning fires
I love the smell of the house after I've cleaned with Pine Sol (especially the blue one).
summer rain
Turkey roasting on Thanksgiving Day
I'm sure I'll think of more. |

| Re: YOUR favorite smells My you guys have put a lot down already that I love!
Such as.... fresh cut grass, flavored coffee (even though I can't stand the taste of it), snow (again, even though I don't like it), campfire, rain, fireworks, play doh (I had TOTALLY forgotten the playdoh smell!!).
Fresh air in the springtime - ya know, when it just *smells* like spring. ahhhhh
And apple crisp, love it love it love it!!
But I have to disagree with the horse/barn smells. I think cuz my allergies to horses and cows, etc. are sooooo bad. I used to not even be able to walk through a barn at the state fair without sneezing and having my throat start to close up. eek! |

My fiance wears polo BLUE cologne. So its not exactly the same. But when he was in the Navy I kept a sweatshirt of his, (the one he was wearing when we first kissed,) and every time he came home he would spray it with his cologne for me. I slept with that sweatshirt for 2 years. Its all ripped and torn now, but I will NEVER get rid of it.
My dogs after a bath.
the smell of coffe (hate the taste though)
horses
the glade candles that are two colors, I like the raspberry one.. Yummmm.
Anything sweet baking in the oven. |
