looking for a floor steamer for tile

The only one I can find that has any reviews is this one..
http://www.hammacher.com/publish/728...S&cm_ite=72877
I was wondering if others had this or had another model/brand that they liked as well??

Canadian Dog is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: looking for a floor steamer for tile

This is the one I use on floors and to clean my bird cages and accessories. Really blasts the crap off and cleans very well with no chemicals.

uhhhhh link didnt work. Also I could not buy something from Canada as it would probably cost more in shipping than the cost of the product. But thank you.

Hmm - don't know why the links not working - anyway, it's the Shark Steam Blaster. They have several models, this one is on wheels on the floor - looks like a little vacuum and comes with attachments. I'd be surprised if you couldn't get it in the States as we usually get things here after they are well established there. The regular price here is $149. Cdn. but I got it on sale for $99.

Re: looking for a floor steamer for tile

My mom bought the Bissell steam mop:
http://www.amazon.com/Bissell-1867-7...0738273&sr=8-1
Neither she nor I have tile floors, but it does a good job of getting all the yuck out of the textured vinyl floor in my kitchen ( I want to replace it very soon!). It doesn't use any chemicals, just tap water (or distilled if your water is too hard).

She also looked at the Shark steam mop (http://www.amazon.com/Euro-Pro-Shark...0738491&sr=1-1), but when she asked my opinion, I told her I'd tried a few other Shark products in the past (a cordless vac and an upright vac), and I hadn't liked them. So she went with the Bissell.

Re: looking for a floor steamer for tile

Interesting... A friend of mine yesterday gave me this link to the one she uses. Since it comes with two pads instead of one ( the link I posted you have to buy if you want more than one), and the cord is longer, here is another option.

Target sells the Sharp steam mop for about $79. It works well, and no chemicals are needed.
