| Where did your username come from? Well I know some of us have self explanitory usernames. Me- at the time I had 4 dogs and 3 cats...so yeah.. And I know RonE and Borziomom, and Ellasmom, and Digitsmama, ok all the moms and mama's, we know. But still- tell us about your username, why you chose it, and even why its special to you. |

| Re: Where did your username come from? My username is also my AIM screen name. It's just easier for me to remember one name instead of many. I chose it because I am vain and because the version with the correct French grammar was taken.
It is because of this username that I first met my boyfriend, almost ten years ago! |

| Re: Where did your username come from? I made mine up a loooong time ago. I loved to play volleyball (and I still do) so I put a "g" for girl and a "k" for Kristen at the end of it and there ya go. I always use the same name because I don't want to have to try to remember different ones. By the way good thread idea! |

| Re: Where did your username come from? Well the "British" part is because I was born in England, "Bandit" is my cat and the eldest of all of my pets. Plus together I thought it sounded pretty neat. |

| Re: Where did your username come from? I made my up for AIM when I was like 13. I wanted a screen name with my name in it, but all the cute variations of Emily were taken. So I got tired of trying and just stuck some random numbers behind my name...and it stuck |

| Re: Where did your username come from? When I got my first computer I got AOL dial up internet and the username I wanted was taken so it took the information I entered and suggested a username which was Durbkat. Durb is the first four letters of my last name and kat represents the kentucky wildcat basketball team. Only instead of using cat, I used kat. So there ya go. |

| Re: Where did your username come from? Dakota Spirit has been my online handle for as long as I could remember. Dakota is the name of my dog and Spirit is simply a quality I've always found important in my life. Not like...spiritual religion type stuffs - but rather a 'free spirit' type personality and lifestyle. I just put the two together and ended up happy with the result. |

| Re: Where did your username come from? When I first came here I was "Mylie'sMom".......I hadn't gotten Ella yet and was going to name her Mylie. But after about a week of telling people I was naming my puppy Mylie, all I heard was "Oh do you guys all love Hannah Montana?" Um...no. I didn't want to have to hear that for the next 15 years. So I stuck with the first name that came into my head when I was deciding on dog names. This forum was nice enough to change it for me. |

| Re: Where did your username come from? Sorry Mycat thinks hesadog! Bad mod here. Quote: | My cat thinks he's a dog. For real. I need to devote a day to just following him around with the camera so I can show everybody, its rediculous.
| Have you heard of the "Puppykat"? Perhaps you have one.
My username is the title of a Jason Mraz song. It happened to be playing on Elsa's first car ride home, and there's one verse that says, see I got Elsa the dog who exceeds my limitations. I like your style crazy pound pup. So hop in the truck with the Curbside Prophet!
You'd think it ended there, but when I need Elsa on her mat my cue is "hop in the truck." Her puppy school trainer looked at me like oookay? Had I thought about it longer though, all her cues would be different. Nothing like 11 other owners asking asking for "mat" while my dog pranced onto hers with a discriminating cue, LOL.

| Re: Where did your username come from? Sunshine is my REAL middle name. I started using the nickname for user names on other sites, but found "sunshine" would be taken, so I just switched the I for a Y as it still would be pronounced the same.
I love this topic, by the way! Interesting to hear everyone's replies. |
