| Do you have a life?? Do you have a life other than with your dogs??
I like to think that dogs aren't my WHOLE life, but some may disagree.
Let's see...Outside of my dog life, I do school...take some classes at the college...go on vacation with my family...Wait, all of those have dogs incorperated too.
Umm...I'm thinking of starting geocaching...My dog will be a part of that as well though...
Okay, I got one. I get on the computer sometimes and talk to friends. That doesn't have anything to do with dogs!! (Unless I'm on DF of course... ) And I'm hoping to become involved with handicapped children as a career, but will probably get a some sort of therapy/facility dog to help out.
So what about you?? |

I go to Disneyland all the time, (At least once a month) and I GO lots of places, but my dog accompanies me everywhere...So I guess I'm not allowed to have a life to myself. |

| Re: Do you have a life?? Well, outside of dogs, I really just have school. That is a life though, it's far more than just school...it's networking, my career path, friends, social events, and lots and lots of work. I love grad school an consider that, along with my home life with my boyfriend and Zoe, as a pretty great life.
I DO other things though, but mostly at home where I can be with Zo too...I watch a lot of TV, read a lot, watch a lot of movies, and have a lot of interests. If I'm leaving the apartment though, it's usually for a walk with Zo or something school related.
So, in reality...no life. |

| Re: Do you have a life?? Not really. As sad as it seems.
I am looking for a new job just to hold me over for a while. It's turning out to be a huge pain!
Volunteer every Saturday and also do transport and fostering for them. So even the stuff I do outside of "my" dogs has to do with other animals. But that's what I truly enjoy. I love everyone like family that I volunteer with and agree with most of them. Talk about everything with them any where from family, work, dogs, etc. so it's like an outside family.
Other than that..nothing. School is going to start charging up again; not looking forward to that. There is going to be a lot studying going one. |

| Re: Do you have a life?? During the week, my life is about work. In fact, my weekends tend to involve a lot of work, as well. On the weekends I volunteer with the SPCA and go to open houses looking for my perfect place. I occasionally get to see friends and I spend a lot of time keeping in touch with my boyfriend.
This sounds thrilling, doesn't it? |

Blitz is basically just a HUGE part of my life. He's not quite my life, but just a big chunk of it. When I go places without him, everybody says "Where's the dog??" A lot of people only know Blitz's name...And I'm like, "Wait...Do I know you??" |

I have a bit more of a life than I'd like to, actually, though it's all pretty dull.
3 kids
Hubby
Working on starting a business (verrrry slowly lol)
Hobby farm
Building a house
Gardening
Birdwatching (not as much as I'd like lately - toddlers scare away the birds)
Running (with my dog)
Weight training
Biking (with my dog)
Paintball
Painting
Knitting
Man, I have way, way too many hobbies. I look forward to the day that dogs occupy a bigger portion of my time. |

| Re: Do you have a life?? I have 3 kids - ages 10, 8 and 5 - - - so my life consists of 4 baseball teams to shlep them around to (my oldest is on two teams). One is in band, one is in chorus, one just stopped gymnastics. I grocery shop, do laundry, drive everyone where they are supposed to be, clean the house, pay the bills and take care of Ella. My social life consists of sitting on the bleachers and chatting with the other mothers. Dinners out usually means the concession stand! Ok....so my answer would be...NO I don't have a "life" of my own. Yet. One day I will. |

| Re: Do you have a life?? let's see.
i'm studying animal sciences to get my course credit requirements for vet school. I want to study animal sports medicine, behavior and domestic canid genetic disorders. I work in rescue rehabilitating problem dogs. I take my dog everywhere as a breed ambassador and am active in promoting owner oriented pet laws as opposed to bsl. we enjoy tracking deer trails in the woods and documenting their habits as a hobby(we being me and my dog). I am compiling an archive of dog info, studies, stories and so forth. my son is two years old and already knows the basic hand signals I use with my dog. my man hunts with dogs.
so school: about dogs
politics: again with the dogs
recreation: also dog oriented
family: yup...dogs again....
so no I don't think my life revolves around dogs much....*wink* |

| Re: Do you have a life?? Well considering I dont have dogs But besides my cats, I go to school. Where there are always dogs and cats there And everything I learn is about animals and how their bodies work and react to drugs and stuff like that....I have 4 more weeks of this and then I will have a "real" life. I'm so tired of school. Just 4 more weeks, 4 more weeks O_o Almost there. School school school school SCHOOL.......It's all I do Yeah, its the end of the school week, Friday night and I feel brain dead. And I am SOOO TIRED OF SCHOOL!!
My life is best if I am doing something with my pets. But I like to spend time with my friends too, going to cat shows and dog shows (Ha! More animals!). I love sports, but Im stuck in a place where I cant do sports, too busy to find out how and my school doesnt have any teams I miss jumping hurdles in track and being a starting forward on soccer teams and even running 3 miles in cross country. I want to go skiing and learn how to snowboard. I would love to learn how to skateboard but my parents never would get me a skateboard for chirstmas or any of my birthdays.
I guess you could say I have "Senioritis" or whatever you want to call it. Only 2 years of college since I started in 2006 but my school only gives 2 week breaks in between quarters and one 3 week break for Christmas.....Im over it!! (Now how in the world do you people shooting for masters degrees do it?) |
