| Re: Do you have a life?? Do I have a life outside my dog? Sure.
Do I have a life outside of animals? Not much.
I work nearly fulltime with animals. I have Beavis, two grown cats, and two recently acquired small slightly feral kittens. And I'm in the process of trying to capture the other kittens (two or three more) plus mamacat. I actually managed to grab mamacat today when she was in a tree, but I was standing on the top rail of a chain link fence at the time, and she got away. If I had four arms, I'd have had her.
So... it seems my life is pretty much consumed with animals at the moment. Taking care of ones at work, taking care of the ones I've had at home, socializing the new little fluffers, and trying to catch more.
I do do a little gardening. Which is how I found out about the kittens in the first place. I was planting some pansies, and Beavis was barking at the house across the street. I look up, and see two kittens playing under their porch.
I'm also into birdwatching, and have multiple feeders in my yard. Regular seed, suet, finch and hummingbird. And I've been becoming obsessed with photography, but that goes hand in hand with the gardening, birdwatching and the pets, since those are my best subjects.
Sometimes the whole my-life-revolves-around-animals thing gets to be a bit overwhelming, and I need a break from pet sites, like this one. Then I miss it, and come back. |

I love what I do for a living and it intriges me to no end..Its like a real life video game to say the least.
I love my dogs and look forward to coming home loading them up and going on hiking trips with them, Throw the ball, Or watch them run crazy together.
I love going home to Louisiana every chance I get and partying hard with my crazazy family. Or just paddle the swamps checking out the wildlife and ancient cypress trees. Sitting on the back porch with my dad and family playing music and dancing the Fais dodo.
I also love my various neices, nephews and god children..I love them to come to Aunt Vs to play on all my toys.
I love gardening, antique shopping. I love to workout alot..I love the feeling of being able to still run as fast and do as much as I did when I was 20. I am competitive with myself so that to me is a excellent outlet.
I have wonderful freinds that share my love for LSU FOOTBALL! So..During football season you will usually see all of us piled in someones house acting like rabid fans...Even down to the purple and gold body paint. Afterwards..we go in public and make fools of ourselves. Especially after a win! |

| Re: Do you have a life?? A month ago...yes.
Two months from now...yes.
Right now? No, not really.
My life is kinda on hold right now, since I'm in between "School" and "Real World Job". I'm still living away from home though, and most of my friends have left the city. So most of my remaining hobbies (jogging, hiking, reading, etc.) is done with the dogs. Okay...the dogs don't read with me, obviously, but I like to read outside so they get to come with me and enjoy. We're also trying to get Webster trained decently before the puppy comes.
My keyboard and art supplies are already boxed up for the move, too, so I can't do that. I do have my aquariums...but that's still pets. I pretty much stopped playing computer games too, so scratch that...
So yeah, the answer is no, lol, not outside of my dogs. Not for the next two months anyway.

| Re: Do you have a life?? If I'm not roller blading on the weekdays I'm just procrastinating so I don't have to do my homework (generally cleaning or going on the computer). Then I do my homework, then I go to school and they give me more.
On fridays I do things with my freinds, usually we watch scary movies. I think that tradition started when I told them that psycho, rear window, and night of the living dead were the only scary movies I had ever watched. So no, I don't really have a life in my opinion, but I don't even have a dog to blame it on. |

| Re: Do you have a life?? A few weeks ago, I would have said NO. My life was so up in the air, I rarely went anywhere or did anything. Slowly though I have been getting out more and enjoying myself. My dogs are still my #1 priority right along with my kids. If I had to choose btwn. doing something fun with my kids and dogs and going out with friends, the choice is a no-brainer |

| Re: Do you have a life?? First thought is no. Ha ha! Figures...
Most of the things I do somehow involve the dogs, maybe not MY dogs, but dogs in general.
I'm at dog school, Monday to Thursday.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, I have to do Roxy's weekly bath and a few hours of the past few days has been spent swimming and evaluating Hades potential for dock diving.. without the dock! HA HA!
Stuff that doesn't include the dogs at all! Cleaning... Roxy does help sometimes. Grocery shopping, does that count?
Once the lake warms up, we'll be on the water as much as possible. The dogs come with us on the boat, but not the sea doos. Although I am thinking about taking them out on the sea doos this year! ROFL! I've seen a few people doing it, so I figure the dogs shouldn't be excluded from them if others aren't! |

| Re: Do you have a life?? Well...Most of the time, my girl is with me, pretty much where ever I go...but I do leave them home at times, just to 'get away'...even if it is just for a couple hours.
I work full time, currently as a dog groomer...so of course, my dogs are with me at work, although usually in daycare while I work.
I am a youth pastor, however, but haven't found a suitable job yet in my field...when I do, my dog will be incorporated into some of the ministry, because we all know how much of a positive impact dogs can have on kids. Right now I volunteer with the church I attend, both with youth, and on the worship teams.
I also am a horse fanatic...and often my dog will accompany me on rides, but when she can't...she can't...no hair lost! She does accompany me to shows, and is a great 'horse show dog'...Lol!
So 'not much' of my life is spent without my dog...but I would certainly not say "my life is my dog"... |

| Re: Do you have a life?? No. I don't. I may DO things not involving them, but I don't LIKE to. I dont stay out late cuz the dogs will be alone. I have to go right home from work to feed the dogs and work on our training. The dogs need baths a lot. But I don't mind. I have my own house, with my own fiance, and I am planning my wedding as well. I work 10 hr days, so I do have 3 days off a week, but 2 of them I work for my dad, and the rest, I play with my dogs. I wouldnt have it any other way. Quote:

| Re: Do you have a life?? Ok, after thinking about it for a couple of days my answer is "No." I have absolutely nothing going on but dogs. Well, except for three hours on occasional Sundays when F1 is on... awww, the joys of nothing... |

| Re: Do you have a life?? ha ha, this is funny because when we were considering getting a pup everyone in my family had to write down a typical week in our life to see if we had enough time to raise a dog. mine went like this:
monday - work (8 hrs), family night
tuesday - school (4 hrs), go out with friends
wednesday - work (8 hrs), partying
thursday - school (5 hrs), stay in
friday - school (4 hrs), partying
saturday - work (7 hrs), partying
sunday - homework
obviously i will gladly party less when my puppy comes |
