LOL.
I don't feel any need to defend myself. Also, please note, that I wasn't comparing the US to a Nazi regime. Doberman made a comment drawing out an extreme of leftism, so I made a comment drawing out an extreme of rightism. It was hypothetical, thank you.

Being a hippie is not extreme leftism.

I know I'm a liberal so thats not news, but some of these terms I'm not familiar with so I gotta do some research.

Edit: Okay I'm happy with it. I think if there was a gun control question I'd be further away from the Libertarianism side. Its funny how accurate a handful of questions can be.

Nope. No National law requiring reristration, but some states require a permit to purchase a firearm. The same permit allows them to carry concealed.
Background checks for a carry permit are much more in depth than any other public licensing.

Re: Your Political Compass, a quick test.

Some cities are very restrictive on firearm ownership and registration. I am not required by state, city, or borough, to register, lisence or even get a permit to own, puchase, or even to carry concealed.

Im sure there is enough information on Hitler to graph his political compass.

Couldn't figure out how to make it nice and pretty and big like most of you guys, darn it! LOL But this is pretty accurate, I think, considering I had to reread the questions quite a few times. Guess it's the hippie in me

Actually if you look at the chart provided with this activity, Hitler was less to the right than Thatcher, in fact he was a moderate on many issues though to be to the right. He and Stalin shared many Authoritarian views. It's funny how many people see Nazism and Fiscal Conservatism as the same when in fact they are very different. History really doesn't teach anything about actual political views, for that you have to study Economics and Political Science.

Actually having your firearm registered DOES NOT entitle you to carry concealed. A Concealed Weapons permit is different and very hard to get in most places. You have to provide a valid reason you NEED a concealed weapon (carrying a large amount of money, law enforcement ect.) and you generally have to show the proper safety courses to even be considered for a permit to carry concealed.

Re: Your Political Compass, a quick test.

I know she was a battle ax! She had to be to rise to her position and gain the respect of the male leaders of that time! It just erks me to see people throw around the Nazi thing when they are discussing Conservative leadership. It simply shows they don't know what they're talking about. Too many people equate Conservatism to Racism and Naziism.

Cshellenberger i think she was a man.HA HA

Although obviously the left and right hold very differing views politically i wouldnt go as far to equate a right winger with Racism or Nazilism.

There are good and bad in everything, politics included.

I frequently wonder this same thing about the Queen Mother. She's got to be something other than human to be so long lived...

As I said. SOME states reqiure a carry permit to purchase a firearm. Not all. Carry permits are not difficult to get, as I have one for Colorado and an out of state Utah permit. But I do not need the permit to purchase, nor am I required to register firearms.
