Buffalo and the Amish and Pennsylvania PICS

There is an Amish "farm" up over the hill from us and we went to visit today...thought I'd share with you. We also passed an Amish buggy, so I snapped a picture of it, too!! Hope you enjoy!

This was supposed to be a slideshow, but somethings is obviously up...so I'll just post the indivisual pics...

Thanks guys- had a feeling you'd enjoy them.

No we didn't pet them- we just stopped along the road and looked- but we were inches away and they didn't care. The owner wasn't there-maybe next time. It is only like 1/2 mile from my house...we'll be there many more times!!

Those fences have some serious voltage to stop a bison. A place in the valley has them, and man alive are they massive creatures! Totally amazing! That is so cool you got some great pictures.

They are amazing. They didn't care that we were there
I don't know if there was voltage going through the fenceor not- there were flies on them...

Thats because flies are not grounded to the ground.. If flies had legs to the ground- they would be fried..

We were so close we could have petted them, but I was scared to. It was the first time we got out of the Jeep..and the owner wasn't there. Hopefully next time though!!
