I know!! They got him and didnt know what to name him. He squeeks like a little mouse so we call him EEK! all the time too lol.

Yeah Chrissy- try going out to your car when it's 110 degrees and DRY! One time I made the mistake of grabbing a bottle of water and drinking some (when i first moved here) I burnt my mouth! i couldda made tea!

My Aunt had a Christmas Tree Farm in the Mojave. I remember how hot it would get there and thank god we never had to live there.

Hiya M! Hows it going?! School doing good?!

Chrissy, We have that nasty heat here too but I am sure it isnt nothing like what you describe. Today it was 74 degrees and tommorrow it is going to be in the 50's with 50 MPH winds..Right now we are under a tornado warning and the wind is wicked!

Jennifer, Glad you and your SO working it out. And wow! You do have wonderful parents! Rossi and mini Rossi how friggen cute can you get?

Morning everyone.

I still have 20 minutes before I have to log in to work so let me give you an update!

Bad news first (dont worry theres good news too):
Took the boys to my dads and it just wasnt gonna work. he blocked off the gate to the backyard and everything, but Chance and Rossi wouldnt leave each other alone. So I decide plan B is Petsmart daycare for the day. I call and OOPS- Kodys shots expired 4 days ago. lovely. So my dad says ok plan C: Kody can stay here what about Chance? So she calls Chances vet and OOPS- he likes to be inexpensive so he doesn't give the bordatella shot because it isn't REQUIRED. (Keep in mind this was a dog that had just gotten over Parvo when he went to see this stupid vet- never going back there again. Why not suggest ALL the shots??)

So we were back at square one. Oh but wait!

We went with Plan D: Take the dogs to our old house for the day. Nobody is living there, our stuff is still pretty much there- and the dogs will have doggy door access. PERFECT! So thats where the dogs are right now. I'm getting everyones shots updated this weekend and enrolling Chance in daycare next week. We will see how he does. Hope he isn't mean.... I guess we'll see.

So thats how my day went so far today. Now I'm at work till 9pm, and tomorrow I have off and I'm gonna try to get most of our stuff out of the old house. The one bad thing is since we canceled the electric out of our name its just off now, and the smoke detectors keep testing themselves... Sorry neighbors!

Sometimes they cant disnose it until they remove it. They might have to biopsy it and then test it to see if it's anything to worry about.

As far as neutering- how old is he? I would def neuter him, less chance of him getting sick down the road. And I know I know the taking away his manhood plays a part. But would you want to put him down because he develops cancer? think of whats best for Aslan.

I felt bad for chance too with all the trauma he went through. His was done at 9 months, but he did fine and was up and about that night. just think though- one less thing for him to lick lol

Hey all-just popping in eal quick to say Hi-been busy trying to unpack and get thishouse straightened back out. How does your house get so messed up when you aren't even home-geeeeesh!
Dom-hope Aslan gets this thing taken care of okay-what a pain in the butt (well, leg!)
It is now pouring down the rain and meling all of the snow-flooding everything here- the giant poop spots are emerging...ugh just something else on my list of to do's!
