My mom was collecting stuff to give to a rather far-away Goodwill shortly after, so that bear went along. It was actually really soft and cute, just really inappropriate: hopefully some kid got it . This bear was also easily twice the size of Kim's, LOL.
If I still had it, I would totally give it to Kim |

Yes, the washer is empty now... sitting there taunting me while the laundry piles up. Gonna have to spend some time at the laundromat this weekend. Yuck!!! MORNING SDO, thanx for thinking of me. I do try to catch up in the morning..

| Re: Ever have one of those days..... Good morning. I'm still sick but it's in my chest now instead of my head so I got off the couch and took Cherokee for his walk in the woods.
There were these 2 ladies with a lab and a golden. Cherokee plastered himself down on the trail when they approached in the most submissive of gestures and the lab ran up and barked straight in his face. I think it was the same lab that ran directly up to him on Monday and put teeth marks in his side. Cherokee ignored him and he and the golden started playing.
Cherokee sometimes plays with other dogs' necks and most people know that it is normal. Well, this lady started swatting at Cherokee and yelling, "he has her by the scruff". Well, Cherokee, being the good boy that he is, let go and the golden bounced right back at him for more so I called him to come with me so I wouldn't have to deal with that owner anymore. I wish more people understood dog play. It just bugs me because Cherokee has a super soft mouth and even mouths our 6 Lb cat without hurting her. I just get so defensive and want to give them an education about normal dog behavior. |

As Kim is panicking and bleeding (not a lot, but honestly...). It was good of you to just walk away and respect her boundaries though, even though you knew Cherokee would be okay.
Hope you feel better -- wish I was walking Kim in the woods right now rather than wasting away in my lab...(we're waiting for data to collect, I'm not just slacking lol). |

| Re: Ever have one of those days..... Well, when we walked away the lab started humping the golden (I believe in an effort to re-claim her) and the owners went ballistic screaming at the lab. Those dogs don't stand a chance for any normal socialization, in my opinion
There's one woman with an aussie that used to freak out when Cherokee and her dog played. She thought they were going to kill each other. Over time, she has come around and figured out how much they really love to play with each other and are a perfect match, temperment-wise. We saw them today too so Cherokee got to have fun In fact, her dog appears out of no-where. She spots Cherokee and can't wait to play. |
