| Re: Ever have one of those days..... V, yes, more news ~ not all good. Seems there's a little glitch.
When I started my current job there was supposed to be a security clearance done before I could have access to the computer system. 1 and 1/2 years later I find out there is no clearance on me in the system.. therefore, the new place can't extend an offer until they have a clearane. Starting from scratch that can take months. They're going to hold the job for me so that's not the problem. The problem is the house. I'm sure the guy's not going to hold this house vacant for a couple of months waiting on me. So, I've spent the past 2 days on the phone calling headquarters trying to find out why my info isn't in the system. It's got to be sitting on someone's desk somewhere because headquarters had to give the ok to our IT to set me up in the system. Today I had my 1st. Sgt call headquarters and talk to someone so maybe he can get further than me.
You know.. I thought things were going too well. Guess I was right.
Trying to figure out how to post the pictures. The place is no palace, but as I said, more than adequate for me and the dogs. The view from the front deck is wide open space.. I can sit on the deck sipping my wine while they frolick in the yard.. |

| Re: Ever have one of those days..... Renooo I am so sorry to hear that. I found our sedona is only 2 hrs away from here and if sierra vista is halfway that means an hour commute. My apartments always have opening! And like I said, very dog friendly! I hope it all works out.
The burning in my face is getting worse and worse. I am not stuffed in the least, but my nose and eyes keep getting burning pains!
Oh no I lied!
This is how it looks
Like I said Sedona is 2 hrs away. Boo- btw like i said I am in Glendale

So be prepared for hundreds of questions | Goldfish are really dirty (they produce a lot of waste), so you would need a highly over-rated filter to keep up with it. I don't think they have much personality, but that's just me
I think Wal-mart has a decent 10 gal tank for $10 (plain tank), so you'd just have to get a canopy (top/light), filter, and heater. Might be your best deal starting out, unless you can find a "kit" somewhere that comes with everything for a good price (try your local fish stores/petsmart; they might have something like that).
Nothing wrong with a 10 gal: that's all I've had for the last 4 years since moving anything bigger would be a huge PITA (have moved all my possessions 8x in 5 years...) |

| Re: Ever have one of those days..... So I have a problem. I think I need to get rid of one of my (3) cats. She is scared of the dogs and lives here
Yes she is behind the washer/dryer. i put a bed back there but she doesnt like it. She NEVER comes out. Her food and litterbox are in there. She was given to us 5 months ago by eriks stepsister who is preggo and cant scoop litter. In the old house she had the whole cat room to herslef, but here I just feel like its borderline animal abuse. Voluntary animal abuse, but still. |

| Re: Ever have one of those days..... Jenn, when I went AZ in 2000 I was in Glendale. I was somewhere near Thunderbird I think.. it's been a while. I remember walking to Walgreens. Which is another thing that freaked me out.. Walgreens sells liquor.. this one had a seperate room with wine, beer and liquors... first time I saw it I was floored.
It's just recently that some supermarkets will carry beer and wine around here.
ETA: Signing off everyone. I've gotta get some sleep.
Good night all. Behave yourselves and don't stay up too late - it's a 'school' nite.

It came with food, the filter, the hood/light, and the tank for 39.99. I love it. Its the perfect size for my 6 fish. I have a black balloon molly, a silver swordtail, a couple larger mollys (a black molly and a creamsicle molly) and a guppy I won at a carnival 4 months ago.
I had 2 crabs but one ate the other and then my cat ate the survivor. i also had angel fish and clown loaches but they didnt survive in the community I had. Quote:

Myeah clown loaches and angelfish both need pretty big tanks: 20 gal tall min. for Angels, 55gal min for Clown Loaches. I love Angels though: will be my "feature fish" when I get my new tank.
Gotta love super overprotective parents (not that kids playing in kitty litter is good, but could've you put it out of reach?). DH's cousins had a baby last fall, and a couple they are friends with were big on the "no sweets ever, only healthy food at all times, Einstein baby vids, etc." thing for the 2-3 yr old. When the kid went in for his physical, the doctor actually told them they need to let their kid eat some unhealthy stuff too--he wasn't getting enough fats and sugars in his diet and it was to the point it could cause trouble down the road. Craziness! |

| Re: Ever have one of those days..... Oh wow! yeah these people are very young. She is 22 I believe. Got married and 9 months later popped out a kid. they are very religious, but I just found it funny that like exactly 9 months later lol.
Anywho- grandma gave the baby a small bit of ice cream on her finger and she GLARED at her and said MOM! No sweets! He has his celery! poor kid. shes preggo again too so we'll see how this one turns out.
The kid is actually a brat. My SO was over there and said oh wow nice fire truck, and picked it up. And the kid grabbed it, scrunched up his face took a deep breath and said "THATS MINE!"
Boundary issues much? |
