| Re: Ever have one of those days..... Yea I couldnt live without this thread. You're making me want pizza hut now.
Its strange- I keep thinking how weird it is that you live ALL the way over there. And when I read your threads, i read them in my head with an english accent. Its funny if I say so myself. but I know its just like over here for the most part but I find that I keep saying to myself- "Wow, they have pizza hut there?!"
One thing I was wondering- are pittbulls fornwed upon there as they are here? Or do people not care as long as you properly care for them and leash them. Wondering if its a "yankee" thing. |

| Re: Ever have one of those days..... Dom-Oh I have no problem holding onto Otis-he's still a litlle guy...ha ha. My other boy was only 180- and I controlled him very well. If you have a huge dog like that you HAVE to be able to control them-one way or another. I am a tall, thin gal and people just can't believe I can control even Otis-but it's all in the training. ..Now u problably jinxed me and I'll be drug 200 feet on our walk tonight...so,thanks in advance! haha |

| Re: Ever have one of those days..... Hey what about me!
I hope everyones day is going better now.
SDO-wow, that sucks, I have only heard of those kind of things actually happening. I hope the IRS hurrys up and finds your money!
Jenn-BEAUTIFUL dress! Wow, your wedding sounds like it's going to be great! I love buffets.
R-2 DUI's in 4 years and 23 years old. Does that mean he got a DUI before he was legal? I hope he's done getting DUI's after losing his job.
V-Glad your day didnt end badly.
Pooch-I hope it is Staph and not a tumor!
My day went real well. I took both Lily and Tanzie to school with me. Only Lily was going to be radiographed, I just brought Tanzie for the 3 teachers, that love my Siameses, to pet. We ended up taking radiographs of both my kitties. All the x-rays turned out great (besides the cats moving a little)! Lily wasn't very happy when we pulled her legs straight and layed her on her back, she cried like a baby (really, the teacher said thats what she sounded like in the hall way). Tanzie layed there like a rag doll, she was great! I tried to take some pictures of the radiographs for you guys to see...Well it's kinda hard to take pics of radiographs But here is the best I could do!
Lily on her back (squirming because she didnt like it)
Lily on her side (she cooperated much better for this one)
Tanzie on her back
Tanzie on her side |

SDO...Most of my freinds are married they like to party, I am usually the bouncer for all the girls nights out, cause they are pent up most of the time and dont get to let loose much. And let me tell you..they get wild..hence I cant drink with them cause im the designated everything..bodyguard, bouncer, mediator, driver etc....So its nice to have friends I can party with from my comfy chair and not getting in trouble..Thanks everyone LOL |

| Re: Ever have one of those days..... Hey everyone . Jen, I'm sooooo sorry I didn't include you in this am's post, was just doing a quick respond to what I'd read. I'm so glad Aslan is gonna be OK. He's a big boy, give your mom a hug for me and teach that boy to be nice to her LOL. Jen, the dress is gorgeous. My good friend is getting married this August ( on my B-day LOL) and I'm her maid of honor. We've gone to several bridal shows and tried on so many dresses it makes my head spin. V- glad the truck was able to be pulled out . Chrissy, I'll be waiting to hear what the restaurant prospects do. Hi K- good to see u too LOL, I've gotta run and get dinner together but I'll be back. |

Otis is very good and easy to control- so far. I must say I am very proud of my boy(and me)- but we'll see come summertime and we're out a lot more and he gets wind of something he'd rather see...Ill let you know. My old boy Brutus once pulled my fiance down a gravel road after a groundhog-I laughed at that, too...his fault he had the leash wrapped around his wrist! |

| Re: Ever have one of those days..... Wow, you guys with your big dogs. I wonder when I get my Great Dane if I will be falling over any.
One time I was walking one of the stronger Shar Peis (Mei Lin is her name) and she saw some chickens, and I was looking the other direction...and she was on a retractable leash...yeah, I went flying in the air and landed on my side. That was fun I was lucky the leash didnt break! That would've made that experience a horrible one if it did (the farm is next to the high way, the chickens were in the direction of the highway). |
