I remember on my first day of my job now, I was seriously overwhelmed and thought I was in over my head. Sometimes, I still feel that way. hahaha

Uallis got after one of my cats. The cat is ok but does have a mild scratch on his back where Uallis swiped him with one of his paws. He was to the point that he could walk passed the cats without reacting but apparently that is only if the cats don't move in the process. Fred ran and BAMMM Uallis was on him.

Eddie surprising is getting better with the cats. He only bothers them when we are in the room. I've peeked around corners to see Eddie and one of the cats sitting on the floor together but if I walk into the room, he'll try to maul them, albeit more gently than Uallis. I can somewhat trust that he won't kill one now. Uallis, one the other hand, I don't think he'll ever be 100% safe to be unsupervised around the cats. He acts like he almost hates them. He'll never be cat friendly.

Ok well things here move fast. He called me back and said he wouldn't feel comfortable selling him with those feet. (prolly because of the concern I voiced) He "found" me another horse. And the owner happens to be a long term customer of ours. She came to the restaurant to show me pics. 4 yo perch paint cross gelding. With good feet. He's off with the mennonites learning to pull but will be home at the end of the week. She has 26 horses and others for sale. (other than Zeus)

She really REALLY wants me to come see him. She was going to use him for buggy tours but it isn't going to work out where the tours were supposed to be so... He's apparently a BIG clown with the nothing bothers me draft mentality. I've never ridden a draft. What can I expect? I'm supposed to go see him at the end of the week.

I don't think I can afford him. Dagnabit!

That sucks that they other horse didn't work out.

I know NOTHING about horses...The only thing that I know is that draft horses are REALLY tall...and I just learned that recently while I was in Montana! lol

Mine lasted two weeks starting with

Wednesday Pickle decided to eat a harmless but poisinuss toad when I let him out to go potty, it took me forever to find him and when I did, he was foaming at the moulth VET!!!

Thursday My air conditioner stoped working

Friday while I was playing with Pickle he decided he wanted to pee in my face, aparently my face is his teritory

Saturday My power went out because of the storm, and Pickle was darting back and fourth running into walls, because he hates thunder

Sunday what do you know? it was light blinking day the power was on and off on and off for 3 hours

Monday The power came on yay!!! My ice cream and food was all bad now

Tuesday Pickle learned how to open the fridge

Wednesday I shampooed all my hair in the shower and then the power turned off again, I was in sudds

Thuresday Pickle learns how to open the fish tank and fall in

Friday I had been typeing something for my job and it was 9 and a half pages long and the power went off, again (its been stormy)

Thats all mabye its not 2 weeks, but close

Yes, he's lame, as soon as I felt it, I got off. He seemed to be striding ok under Allyson but I weigh more.




I asked before I got on and the owner said he was sound, He didn't look lame when Allyson was riding him. But he was under me.

Have another prospect. This one is perch paint X. About 16.2-17 hh At least he'd be able to carry me.

Chrissy, he was cute, sorry to hear he didn't work out. His feet don't look good, but then again, I bought Rhiatta. Keeping my fingers crossed the next prospect works out! There is something out there that will be the perfect match for you.

Been busy with the horses today. Texas went to training (just to be started lightly), and Mr. Rhiatta came home. I made a post of him once he got off of the trailer. It is so nice having him back.

Hey guys! Sorry I havent been checking in. Been busy saving dogs lives and actually being able to pay my bills.

Erik has been making good money lately, so we paid everything on time! EARLY even! Like I paid my whole cell phone bill instead of just the past due lol. I paid electric, water, cell phone, bunch of credit cards, and my car payment. Tomorrow Erik will be able to give me more than enough for rent.

Lets cross our fingers and hope it stays this way!

Hope everyone else is well. I have been keeping up and reading every post, so I know whats going on with you all, just too tired to comment.

Scorpions! UGH!

Got nailed in the neck tonight at 2:30 am. Hurt like a S$%&&%##. Almost rolled over and went back to sleep but had second thoughts and turned on the light to check.


SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE *levitates off the bed* So after embarrassing myself with girly noises Grabbed a boot and beat the damn thing to death. Which is harder than it sounds on a bed. I finally had to pin it with one boot, and the get my other boot using my leg and some incredibly dexterous toe action. Then I MASHED him between the boot heels and carried him off to the toilet. YUK.

The sanctity of my bed has been INVADED! Took two midol and had to trek the 300' up to mom's house in a THUNDERSTORM getting totally soaked for some benadryl as he got me in the neck and I thought I should take some JIC. Damn creepies.
So here I am as it's raining too hard to go back with thunder and lightning crashing all around and I'm on the futon. Want my bed back. *snif sniff yawn*

Ouch, Beez! Sorry about your bed...you must perform the cleansing ceremonies to re-sanctify it (just kidding...I dunno what the would be besides washing the sheet so you know there aren't any others). Good luck with the horse this weekend...my cousins-in-law (does it work like that? My DH's cousins) have a Belgian that they ride...they seem to enjoy it.
