Eagerly awaiting new pics of Rbarks new pup!
Did any of you hear about Tim Russert(NBC, Meet the PRess)? He collapsed at work today, and passed away from a heart attack...only 58 years. Couldn't believe it when I saw it on the news. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25145431/?GT1=43001

On the bright side i managed to lure my sister out of hiding.
She is meeting me at a petco near the airport at 530. We will have dinner, buy toys, a bed, etc. Then go get the pup at 730.
I think im going to bring the dogs to my father's house in the bay area that he hasnt been to in 4 years. So i dont think he will notice. This way i dont drive my roommates nuts with the inevitable barking and crying during the night.
Good thing im deaf..
Im going to crate all three. Because otherwise if ollie and kobe were sleeping in the bedroom without a crate, they would bug the pup all night, whether she was crated or not.
Poor ollie and kobe are going to go deaf tonight.
I think its about time to get kobe a new crate. I dont think he will destroy the pan anymore. And donate the old beat up one to the rescue. I wont be getting another dog for a few years anyway.
Or maybe later, anyway. Im apready paying enough for the new pup. $1900, yikes.
I forgot to PM you Jenn. I will do so in the AM. I was exhausted yesterday and thought today was saturday. So i promise i will talk to ya in the am. | no worries. You can PM me when you have a pic of you two to go with it So how long will you be staying at your dads place for? Take lots of pics and vids.. I dont have a lot from when Kody was a puppy, believe it or not. Hey wait..... isn's she your first "puppy"? How exciting! Also- have you decided on a call name yet? Quote:

| Re: Ever have one of those days... Hey all!
Not on long tonight...dead tired from going to IL and back today, and the dogs are still "boarded" until tomorrow morning so I want to enjoy being allowed to sleep in later than usual.
Good news though -- I think we finally found a house that will work great for us
Okay, so
Jenn -- Glad you have a wedding date!
Sugar -- Glad you are planning to join the wedded ranks as well. Gotta even up the numbers around here
R -- Good luck with the pup tonight...like many people said above, we want pictures as soon as you can get them The more the merrier!
Everyone else...I know I'm missing stuff, and I'm sorry...I hope you had wonderful days! |

| Re: Ever have one of those days... Hello everyone! Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!
Since school is out, I only work 3 days a week now...so I get 4 day weekends...woooo hooooo!! PARTAY!!
I'm trying to think of crafts we can do with the kids this summer. Thursday, one of my bosses called me and said that he was a little overwhelmed running the whole summer program and asked if I'd basically run the "room" in terms of setting up a schedule for everyone to follow and find "work" for the kids to do. Now I'm a little overwhelmed because this isn't exactly my strong suit. I'm better with managing behaviors and dealing with meltdowns.
Congrats on the house Shaina!! That is great news!
FOZ- That is so funny that Zoe likes to be boarded! I'm sure she'll have a great weekend!
Hello to everyone else!! |

Shaina- thats great! Tell us about the house!
Hello to everyone else!
I have 4 tired dogs today......
......wait for it.....
.......catching on......
yeah thats right I said 4 dogs.
Not for good unfortunately. We brought Moose over last night for a sleepover. Eriks grandma got hurt last week and Moose and his two sisters have been locked in the dog room(where they have a doggy door opening to a run outside) all week. So we took Moose for the night. I brushed about a grocery bag full of undercoat off him, no joke, then I gave him a bath- he was FILTHY, then brushed another grocery bag of fur off him. I'm going to clip his nails, and clean his teeth and ears too. Right now he is relaxing on the cool tile, and hes still a little damp. We walked in the house last night and Chance went NUTS! He was so happy to see Moose! Moose was a little overwhelmed, and had his hackles up and kept low growling, but I let them work it out mostly on their own, and within 20 minutes, Chance was back to licking the inside of Mooses mouth again.
Erik wants us to keep him, and I do too. But we just cant do the 4 dogs thing again right now. Things have finally settled down with the 3 dogs we have. Moose is only 3 years old, so when we buy a house in a year or two, Moose will still have a lot of years left with us. We're taking him back in a few hours. I'm sure he will visit again.
I'll be back tonight.
EDIT- when I said Moose and his two sisters, its a chocolate lab and a golden, not real sisters. |

She cried a bit in the beginning, but after only 30 minutes she stopped. For the rest of the night, she only cried when I took her to potty then put her back in, for only a minute or two.
At least, that's what I am assuming based on the fact my brother didn't come in to complain about her.
She's a cute little girl |

Glad she had a good nite. |
