She is a Mississippi Map turtle. About 8 years old, the male is about 1 1/2 to 2 years old. My friend has them in a tank together and the female lays eggs occasionally. I watched her house for 3 weeks and the female (Urtle) was trying to lay them so she got a shot of Oxytocin after getting an xray done. 10 eggs, 8 were layed. She still has 2 inside her for almost 3 weeks now since the other 8 were layed. Will she be ok (my friend didnt want to pay for another shot and thinks Urtle will be ok and not have any problems)? | |

There are some turtle forums, just stay away from the turtle sale place. | |

My shutters are offically up. all I have to do is put the hardware on to lock when shut..i so esssited. 
SLK...I hope your freinds turtle is Ok..i dont know anything about them, I met a logger head once . Never took a fancy to any others
