| Re: Ever have one of those days... We ordered 5 I think the first time, and one was a bit soft...guess that deer wasn't getting his calcium lol...and Zoe really tore through that. The others were all very very durable though.
Zoe would get sick of one after awhile. I'd put it back in the box, get her a new one, and just rotate--she'll go back to the old ones eventually, when they're "new" again.
Reno and I are taking the dog world by storm with this antler thing...too bad we don't get any finders fees or shares in the profits! |

Katherine, you up yet?
FOZ, there must be someone we can talk to about that.
V, how's Miss Iris? Did you order antlers too?
R, is Ollie being aromatic this morning?
Jenn, you could be looking at one hell of a BBQ if everyone showed up at once.
Morning Dom. |

Opened the door to the main room and both dogs beelined to the antlers...I would say these things are definitely a hit. Web's not much of a chewer either, so that's saying something with him (well, except for when he tries to chew my foot). |

It's very threatening for them.... don't blame Cherokee.....

I got to try Persian food for dinner tonight...got chicken kebab with this rice dish, that's basmati saffron rice with these little sweet and sour berries in it...it was FABulous. Nice little hole in the wall place too, with everyone speaking Persian all around me...love it.
And that's about it for news...BORing! |

I did work with him (sits for treats) in proximity of the little boy. Then the mom came up with the little girl who was smaller and didn't approach him. It was good to spend some time around these little kids and we walked past them another time just so Cherokee could see that no bad would come of it. We don't see many little kids outside of strollers so it isn't something we have worked on. |

And R, I hope Ollie's farting like crazy I'm not so nice as Reno. |

One of my 'assignments' was to take Reno to a mall, park or someplace with alot of activity from different sources. People walking by, kids, etc. Our first time there we parked ourselves on an outside bench that was somewhat removed from the activity and just watched. As he became more comfortable, we inched our way closer to the crowds while working on his obedience - sits, downs, heels, etc...
I'm not insinuating Cherokee needs any confidence building or anything of that sort, but if you want to get Cherokee exposed to situations he doesn't normally see, this might be a way to do it. I hope you're not offended. Quote:

. | I am not offended at all. I am still cought by surprise when he has a problem. He has conquered so many fears. I have gotten complacent. |

Been "out" a lot since Mom got back. Between that and planning my trip, sorting out the logistics of importing 681 pounds of dog food, and looking after Bree. I been busy. |
