S- he must be having a blast with you...hopefully the barking will stop very soon.
MMM- good luck in VT! I'm hoping all goes well. P.S. mind if I invade your summer place this summer lol? Nothing is quite as miserable as Boston on a hot steamy summer day.
Jenn- when is the moving date? or does it depend on when the work is done?
I miss Dom too. I sent him a couple of PMs and tried to email him but he doesn't accept email. I was gone while all the drama happened, so I tried to let him know in PM how I felt and all, but he hasn't even checked in to read them. Doesn't he know how much we miss him??? (Yes, it's true...I am actually beginning to criticize people for having a life outside of dogforums lol!) |

Hey, I just thought of something.... she disappeared the same time Dom did.... maybe, just mayyybeeeee they're together on a deserted tropical island somewhere....... or they're really the same person...
Jenn, I completely agree. We used to get 3 pages in 5 minutes. Now it takes 4 days!!!
The chat room is ok, but it's just not as much fun as it used to be here. | Yeah I can hear the crickets in here some nights, dont like it. Quote:

He barked for hours again last night. I thought he was getting better because when I got home at 3am on Wednesday, he only barked for about 15 minutes, but according to the DH he barked for over an hour when he first went to bed. This is after getting lots of exercise yesterday AND a Benedryl before bed...argh
Anyway, off to jog w/ Kim...she needs some quality time. | if they remember hes not neueterd, theyll take him out, unless they changed their rules, we couldnt have unspeureted dogs in camp when i worked there. Quote:

But they are sure taking their sweet time getting it ready. i signed the lease and gave them 950 security deposit without seeing it clean (obviously lol) so now I am just worrying and wanting to make sure its clean to my expectations, from the look of the paint job, it will exceed my expectations. Hey you guys remember when I was just LOOKING for houses? |

I hope today finds everyone well!
I been back out in the feild for last few days. We started on that huge job Tuesday and things are going as planned. been doing alot fo Demolition of homes on the bay prepping for a new casino to go up. Its really sad to do this work sometimes since most of these homes were built in the late 1800's an early 1900's....But most of them were deemed unsound after the storm. I see folks who used to own the properties and I am hearing all the stories of thier childhoods on the banks there.
I got alot of catching up to do here. I am very very behind.
Have fun MMM in Vermont..and dont forget pictures!
Jenn, Good luck and I wish you a speedy move in to you new house
FOZ..I hope he comes back soon myself. The atmosphere is all wrong.

Kim slept all day in the crate and he spent the day at boarding, and he's still the more energetic one, lol. Of course, Kim had a 2 mile run this morning and he just had a 10 minute walk before going to Petsmart... might have something to do with it. |

I haven't been around much lately, on here or the chat. I've been busy with work and really tired when I get home, I have been just wanting to veg out... The weather has been really nice here and at work we are taking advantage of it after being couped up all winter! We are outside everyday looking for bugs and doing scavenger hunts...or just walking around. It's been fun but exhausting. I'm also ditched my "summer off" and I think I'm taking a position at the residential home some of our students live in. They want some staff that are already trained with these particular students. I will be able to maintain the relationship I've built with them AND be able to earn some extra money. It's only 3 days a week BUT the pay is really good. So I'll be able to pay down some debt AND start to save up some more money.
Uallis has a vet appointment for May 6th. I can wait to find out what my big boy weighs now. |

Are you taking any bets as to what Uallis will weigh? |

Are you taking any bets as to what Uallis will weigh? | We ALWAYS bet on what he'll weigh every time he goes to the vet! I think that I've only won the bet one or two times
If anyone would care to hazard a guess here is a recent pic:
One of Uallis and Eddie for somewhat a size comparison:
It's hard to tell through pictures so this will be challenging! |

Isn't Uallis close in age to Otis? Or is he older? |

| Re: Ever have one of those days... Evening all. Just came back from spending a couple hours with Bree.
Ok, she is definitely feeling MUCH better.
I turned her out in my yard, and I have a pond with very steep edges, so I don't like her getting too close. Of course that's where she prefers. I chased her a couple of times, secong time she tried to kick me not once but FOUR times. I know strange, but it really made me happy as it's so much more what I would expect from a 10 mo old. YAY she's acting like she should.*does the happy dance* It was really nice to be able to spend a little time with her and see all the changes.
Very good about letting me inspect her feet, and the grain mix and oil is just making her coat GLEAM. She's not bald on her face any more, and her mane and tail are regrowing at what seems to me like a phenomenal rate. It's WORKING y'all. I have to give props to Juan as he's been doing a lot of the care since Mom left. |

V, what a shame all that history... oh well, progress | there was a maintenance guy there today when we went by, and we talked with him. seems a few things wont be done by tuesday, but we will be able to move in (yaay) and he will come after we are in and fix a few things up. whatever though, I didnt notice anything wrong. It was clean, and he was sealing the bedrooms floors for the new carpet! The backyard does need to be done, and they just put in a bid on a landscaper, i dont know what their plans are for the yard, but if they hire a landscaper, they may be doing more than just weedwacking.. so here are some recent pics:
Living room
Kitchen
Master bath
Standing in the guest bath looking down the hallway, that open door is the front door
Do you guys see how fresh the paint is?? They did awesome! |
