OH and yes my friends up the mountain have 100 acres of coffee. All you can drink. Shade grown, hand picked, medium roast. |

I'm going to go to bed now... you've had me up til all hours the last several nights and I'm tired now...
However, should things start to get rowdy here - I would appreciate someone waking me up so I don't miss anything. Okay? Deal?
G'nite... love and kisses to all. |

I need $500 for a new tent, and it's time for a $400 sleeping bag, new rain jacket and pants for $200, a new backpack for $250.
Pretty much all of my gear wore out last season. They served me well. So no hiking in bad weather this year unfortunately, until I pay off everything that needs to be fixed (my truck, stuff in my house, etc).
Camping in the rain can be fun, at least imo, with the right gear. | heee heee Too many girls in your herem??? We keep you busy?
The upside of all of us gals-we can buy you all the rain/hiking gear you need-as long as we can all come with you, of course!!
Gee, all I asked for was a new pair of sneaks and you need all of this expensive stuff!! |

| Re: Ever have one of those days..... Morning!
I'm off work today, "woohoo" is what I'd like to say, but I needed the money. Feh.
Oh well, since it's here, I'm going to enjoy it.
Mostly running errands all day. Since I feed raw, I've noticed there's a horrid smell emanating from the meat, and it's filled up the entire second floor of my house. (My house is unusual- you enter the second floor via a bridge, which is where the kitchen, living rooms, etc are) Because my garage is on the top of the hill, and the house is on the bottom of the hill.
Fortunately I have a patio upstairs, so I'm buying a cooler and a separate lidded garbage can for the patio, and thaw them outside in the cooler.
I'm also getting the carpets cleaned on Saturday. $175 for 5 rooms, a hallway, and stairs. Not too bad. They are throwing in a bonus enzyme cleaning since I'm a first time customer and I have pets. It should make a huge difference in the smell. It's been bothering me for a while, and the spots too.
As such, most of today will be moving the snake cages upstairs (which is no small feat, they are about 250LB each) and taking apart the futon to bring it upstairs where the hardwood floor is.
Personal truck is in the shop as well. I just took it in. Waiting for a estimate for repairs... Bleh.
After all this, I just need to replace furnace, faucet, repair the ceiling in one room that has water damage. Then I'm done with the house, and gotta work on the landscaping rewgrowing grass that was killed while I built the fence in my backyard.
Then I have to insulate and drywall my detached garage.
So much work to do, so much money to spend, so little time. Gah! I'll be happy when those are paid, then I can start saving for a vacation for me and Ollie! A trip to Colorado where I can spend a month stinky, sweaty, wearing one pair of clothes for a month without washing, in a cramped tent, covered in bugs and dirt, hungry all day with only peanuts and powerbars to eat.
Sounds like a blast!
PS: Since I'm home today, I talk on and on and on and on. Sometimes give some women a run for their money! |

| Re: Ever have one of those days..... Hey R!!! A day off seems to always be more work than if you went to work, huh? I am glad you are getting rid of the meat smell before we all get there-ha ha!!
I no longer scrub my carpets myself- got to be a pain in the butt and back!! It is SOO worth paying the money!
I am always home, so my work never ends here!! I sometimes want to go back to renting so I don't have to worry about paying when things break-let someone else pay for it!! Just think how much money we'd have if it weren't for vehicles and house repairs!! You could take that Colorado Vacation for a month twice a year!! Oh yeah-stinking and being in the same clothes for a month-good times!!?? I think I'd have to change atleast once...hee hee |

Furnace changeout will be about $2000 (and it's only that cheap because I'm doing it myself, I charge everyone else about $4000.)
I don't even want to add in the rest. I haven't even spent that much on myself in the last year |

| Re: Ever have one of those days..... Reno, Well keep the place warm for ya
R..sounds like you got your work cut out for ya. I still have a list a mile long that I should have finished before I moved back into the house last years but, Oh well, It passed inspection, moved in and said to hell with it..
good luck with everything.
That colorado trip sounds zexay
I am not off today but I dont have to work in the feild..Had some major rains last 2 days and all the dirt pits are closed for road maintence. Cant work on the hoe because it would become a nightmare. So everyone took the day off..except for me..trying to get taxes together...payroll. ugh. |
