| Re: Ever have one of those days..... Wow, congrats R, I'm so glad everything worked out and those guys got what was coming! Always nice to have your dad, etc. apologize too. Hope those guys got the scare of their lives. Is the vandalized company pressing charges against them now? I'm assuming they have to pay the $18k in damages as well as getting kicked out of the industry. Ah well, another victory for the Good Guy (you)!
Kim and I are off to 3 area pet stores for some Friday afternoon socialization -- back in about 2 hrs. |

Love when parents stick up for us. Congrats! | Should be, hopefully. They are not fired as of yet, just a bunch of lawyer BS to do to make sure this does not bite him or me in the ass. Quote:

I have not heard anything about pressing charges yet, I think what's going on right now is that everyone involved is talking to their lawyers to see what their options is and the best course of action. The police have not been asked to press charges yet.
It's all good to me, though, I'm just happy to be rid of them and keep my job for another 5 years until it's time for me to get the hell out of the Bay Area. |

| Re: Ever have one of those days..... Yay we're back. Kim had a fantastic time -- and she even heeled for most of it. She did try to jump on the woman who was checking us out at Petsmart (erm, as in, scanning my purchase item and charging me, not "checking me out"), but she did sit nicely for the fish store lady to pet her, and downed for a little girl (maybe 6?) to pat her on the head. So overall good. |

| Re: Ever have one of those days..... Hello everyone.
R, you made my day!!! I was reading your post and jumping up and down.
Go R, Go R, WOOHOO!!
You must feel like the weight of the world has been lifted from your shoulders. Work might actually be enjoyable now huh?
Good for you R, see what happens when you are the Divine Master of a harem. Everything that is good and just comes your way.
This is for you R. You have to read all the way to the end to see why.
AMAZINGLY SIMPLE HOME REMEDIES
1. Avoid cutting yourself when slicing vegetables by getting someone else to hold while you chop.
2. Avoid arguments with the Mrs. about lifting the toilet seat
by using the shower.
3. For high blood pressure sufferers: simply cut yourself and
bleed for a few minutes, thus reducing the pressure in your veins. Remember to use a timer.
4. A mouse trap, placed on top of your alarm clock, will prevent
you from rolling over and going back to sleep after you hit the
snooze button.
5. If you have a bad cough, take a large dose of laxatives, then
you will be afraid to cough.
6. You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape. If
it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape. |

Thanks! To finish off my good day, I'm going to spend the next few hours having fun pulling weeds |

I think I should start using this one myself. Quote:

| I love the rest BTW. Keep 'em coming.
Oh yeah! You betcha!
Except, I've got the midafternoon blues. I'm trying REALLY hard just to stay awake right now. I think I might have to go take a nap or go for a walk. YAWN, I think maybe walk. OK going now! YAWN!

| Re: Ever have one of those days..... I've been trying to stay awake since 2PM. I guess I'm not going to be having much fun this Friday night
I'm dropping my son off at school for a "dance" (he plays basketball in the gym) then picking up my favorite spicy Thai food. It's the same food I couldn't taste at the beginning of my cold. I can't wait, I'm starving every sinc Chrissy mentioned the conch fritters
Unfortunately, my daughter is having some friends over to our house so, no peace for me. |

Do yourself a favor, MMM, when you see a boy with your daughter, act like a maniac welding a 12 gauge shotgun. Even if he looks like the nicest guy in the world.
Because, that boy, is probably me minus 8 years. And that's not good. I never have good intentions. |

| Re: Ever have one of those days..... Boys aren't interested in my daughter. She's just too busy dancing and she has a classic ballerina body. No hips, no butt, and NO chest. We're safe for now. Now some of the boys that partner her in dance have crushes on her but they are too intimidated to do anything about it |
