| Re: Ever have one of those days..... Yeah, I wish we could have taken her with us, but the hotel doesn't allow dogs -- she would've had a blast being in a new place. Not to mention the joy (for her) of a long car ride. On the other hand, it's probably best she's not here, since jumping on the apartment personnel when we tour would probably not earn us any brownie points. |

Have you looked at this apartment before or are you just starting to look? When are you moving- do you know? And how far away is it from where you are now? |

| Re: Ever have one of those days..... We're going to like 5 apartments -- we've checked them out online and read reviews and gotten prices and such (and thus narrowed the list from ~20 places to 5), but it's hard to really judge til you see them in real life.
Dunno when we're moving yet -- depends on a lot of things, including the DH's interview right now.
Waaay to far, lol. I HATE long drives! I slept most of the way here, to be honest -- it's the only way to travel. I wouldn't mind moving, except that Illinoios is THE SAME as Ohio. If we're going to move we could at least go somewhere interesting -- I would've loved going to the Pacific NW. Ah well...there's always time to move again later. |

Okay, way too much for first thing in the AM. See you all later. K | It's so hard for us Daddy's girls when they leave. Cancer has "gotten" so many people in my life I almost don't feel like spelling it with a BIG C anymore.
I really aimed my post at all you smoking LURKERS out there. Cancer is a sad, humiliating, painful, loooooong way to go. Quit now. Quote:

It's good to get the drugs behind you isn't it? I went through all that years ago. I miss them on really bad days though Alcohol just doesn't help me, so I'm stuck with my funk sometimes.
My Dad died of brain cancer and it was relatively quick (9 months total). Don't know how or why he got it but, my sister-in-law's father died of the same rare kind a number of years later. Was there something in the environment. I don't know, it's a little freaky. | I'm so sorry your DH is having a hard time. You want all us violent DFr's to come up and kick some ass?
LOL MMM you can always use DF to help with the "Funk"
I'm so sorry about your Dad, I'm glad it was quick-ish. Speaking from experience, longer IS harder. At least you had time to say goodbye. That is important. Quote:

PS. It's not OUR fault all you wimps crapped out on us. It was just me and Jen here, aaaaaalllllll alone. We had to do something to stay occupied. |

All you sensitive people, cover your ears. Profanity coming!
Dumbass, dirtbag. stupid POS surveryor!
He chopped a line completely WRONG to what I told him. I called him on it, ad now he says he won't be back till after EASTER!! Why? because he's already spent a lot of time on it. If he had just come in this morning, and TALKED to me. We could have talked about it, but nooooooo, I think he has a problem with women and just decided he'd change it an maybe I wouldn't notice that 500+ feet of road frontage shrunk to 119 feet.
IDIOT!!!
Scum sucking bottom feeding, jerkwad d!ckhead. I think when he was made in the womb someone screwed up and got the heads switched.

When next the surveyor comes(whenever that is) I'll just take him out to OUR line, and say THERE! now tell us howmany acres that is and be done with it. He'll get paid, but he certainly won't get any business off of our recommendations. |

Here's a blurry picture of my first crocus of the year. it is so late in the day that it closed but, it is evidence of good things to come. These little yellow ones are the earliest. The purple and white come later |

| Re: Ever have one of those days..... I'll take some more pictures for ya as soon as I see anything pop up. This is the best time of year for me. I get sooooooooo excited when things start coming up. It's like the world was dead and it's comes alive inch by inch. The daylilys and bearded irises are pushing up their leaves. They seem to grow a little more every day. It's the best thing about winter, it makes spring so much better.
Can you tell I was a little lazy on the fall clean-up? |
