Sorry RBark, looks like your herem had enough last night- you obviously wore all of us out. I am now retiring for the night-it is 11:30 here...have good long day tomorrow- make the best of it. I wil have your bucket packed for you ha ha

Actually, we are alll on a plane to CA right now, just telling you we are going to bed ha ha!!

Funny, my brother and a few of his friends are playing video games upstairs on a TV (being that I have no furniture, they are sitting on the floor...

IT's a guy's night, and they've been making stinkers all night, and Ollie went up to greet them, and came down a little bit later.

My brother came down soon afterwards laughing about how he went up there, greeted everyone, and let one rip.

He said "Ollie wanted to mix his brand with the rest of us".

Yea...it kinda stunk..The good ole years of kitchens smelling like hair perms and the decorative colors were burnt orange, puke green and canary yellow.

Didgitsmama, I remember those dancers, they were so awesome, I wanted to be one too ROTFL. Dionne Warwick, i thought, stunk, I wanted Dianna Ross to be the commentator.

and don't get me started on the cat pee smell of hair perms LOL, that was a bad year for me trying to grow out the frizz. I think you just described our kitchen when I was little, cheesy cupboards, burnt orange backsplash, matching tile floor LOL, avocado grn countertops to round out the whole effect.

I actually have a picture of me, toehead hair in pigtails that reached my hips, red and white grover P.J.'s standing next to my sister's 8 track player which I'm almost positive was playing the beach boys ( my sister was 11 yrs. older than me) I think I was 4 or 5.

YES! I remember those Carpets..In fact I loved them so much I got them in my house today. Just a very neutral color

My room was painted by my mother with these giant Daisies. Of bright green, yellow, poo brown..In fact look at this picture...see the colors? No wonder i rebelled in my teens

Haha Diesalsmama YES!YES! exactly...To this day I stare at my mom and wonder if she was on acid with all those color schemes.(no she wasnt) but still......I STILL have my 8 track player from 1971.And Diana Ross was hot.

I wasnt going to vent on your thread plus I wanted to forget...but ill tell ya.

I sold 40 foot of the front of my property to the county. 5 years ago I planted 57 Leland cypress trees on my fence row. Well, they plan on starting on the road widening mid April. i couldnt bear to let them go to the dump so I went around with my skid steer and a auger bit and started drilling holes everywhere I wanted to transplant a tree. By my sons house, I made a line of holes 9 foot apart. I even looked at my sons undergrond power line earlier in the day..and said..self..remember that. Got out measured..pained the spots I wanted dug and preceded on..The VERY last hole...57 of them I go to drilling and the auger stopped. Now this is a 8 inch auger bit powered by a skid steer. I pulled up and POP it hit me..I look over. Theres the line on sons house. I about melted..I got out..slowly....ran to my house, and threw the power supply off. To make a long story short..It broke the PVC pipe the lines re encased in. Lucky me didnt do much damage. Lucky. Im still freaked out about it. Electricians are here now.

Anyways. Its all better really but. I need to focus...It could have been a reallyreallyreally bad situation all the way down. Brain Farts suck.

OMG, I am so glad you're ok and son is ok and things will get back to normal after the electricians are done.

You know, I've kinda come to think of this thread as a place we can come to just talk and vent about anything (mustn't forget about working out the harem details

) there is no 'off topic' - heaven knows we've been all over the place - don't you ever worry about your venting.

I just cant for the life of me fathom how I measured 9 foot apart from a existing tree 13 times and for some reason that line was EXACTLY 9 foot away at the end of that line. It actually cracks me up to think about it...Now. I called mom and asked her if she was cussing me today. Wondered if she was playin with some voodoo. Everytime she gets cranky with me something terrible happens

Does Mississippi have drive through liquor stores? AZ does - cracked me up the first time I saw one. What? if you're too drunk to walk into the liquor store it's ok - use the drive up?? Makes no sense to me....
