Hear nothing at all. I'm good at lip reading with 60% of people. Some people I just simply can't understand. And also being "good at lip reading" really means I only have a 40% or so understanding of words. I catch the key words only, but sometimes miss them. I have a 60% understanding of family members I talk to a lot (such as my younger brother and father).

I do most of my communication by reading emotions, body language, and a couple key words. Much like a dog

so I'm especially sensitive to body and facial language more than I am of the words themselves.

You're 30? I would not have guessed. From your pictures, you look so young.

LOL,R my "fling" was more of accident that shouldnt have happened.
I look back on it as more as "going to school"

Despite my oh-so-charismatic online persona, I'm not nearly as interesting IRL. I suppose that might go for us all, but here I have the advantage of listening only when it serves me. So it might well be true that I start tuning people (not just girlfriends, I do it to pretty much everyone - I think. Unintentionally..) after a while.

Perhaps it's because it takes so much mental energy for me to keep up in a conversation, I don't know. But it's probably mostly true.

Hmmm, When I was 19 I dated a 38 yo.

My biggest age difference was 9 years younger than me.

The supposed "love of my life" was three years older.(he still had the zoomies)

I have no issue with age, but I think MOST guys need to be around 35 before they get the zoomies out.

I think I'll just wait till I'm 45 and then start looking for my toyboy.

Im very talkative IRL and I drive people crazy sometimes! lol. But I'm sure everyone here can let loose a little bit. The fun part about this forum is we are all so different, yet we mesh together so well. I dont have any friends like ChrissyBZ IRL- but man do I want some! I love talking to people from Mississippi, and CA, and LONDON- I mean- I get to do and see things here that otherwise I wouldnt. I talk about you guys like I know you.

Im sure the internet brings out who we all WANT to be but not so much who we currently ARE

Thanks for the young compliment- I like to think I look younger, anyway- I try my damndest to keep in shape and all that jazz...can't let these numbers get to me. I feel a good drunk coming in a couple weeks when 29.9999 turns up a number...ugh.

Much more than that... I usually read emotions out of people before the person themselves even knows they are feeling that way. Which sometimes causes problems. I.e. someone is starting to get frustrated talking to me, but as I approach them I read it immediately, which puts me on the offensive, and them, who didn't really "feel" irritated with me, gets put on the defensive almost as though I'm blowing up on them for no reason.

Or comforting people when they don't realize they are upset, and that sort of thing. Forget telling lies, I usually see they are going to tell a lie, long before they say it. Which again, often creates a lot of friction.

It's readily apparent the effort you are going. I was really surprised, I assumed you were about my age. My mother is much the same way, she's something like 45-50 now, but most people peg her for 35ish. I'm hoping I have my father's genes, who looks to most like he's 30, even though he's 55.

I turned deaf at 4 from spinal meningitis.
