LOL, we're yet to turn on our heat again this winter. You'd think we'd save enough money from this to get a camera *and* another dog. It's actually pretty comfortable, though with the blizzard-y thing it started to get a bit nippy. I just baked a pie and left the oven cracked afterward as it cooled -- warmed the whole place up. Upside of having a small, very well-insulated apartment.

No the one's who own land here. They have 5000 acres give or take a couple hundred. Shaina I seem to remember you think you may have "help" with your heat from your downstairs neighbors?

Yes, well we don't have a heater, so our house is usually within a couple of degrees of the outside unless we have the A/C on.

I can deal with cold better when the humidity is lower, right now the humidity is unusually low. 62% If it was higher I'd probably feel colder.

When we stayed in the Mojave with Auntie Irene the cold nights were really nice. and even when it was hot, it didn't feel too bad because of the low humidity.

Yeah, it really doesn't get cold in our apartment, even when it's in the negatives outside. I've never worn more than sweats and socks to keep warm. On the rare occasion it gets a little chilly, running a load of dishes, laundry or baking something warms the whole place up. We know it's getting a bit cold if Kim chooses to lay in her blankets instead of in the middle of the room

Ha- those are her new Jammies she just got-she had to model them- makes it feel warmer in here with her wearing them-she wants to wear them to bed...its a blizzard outside and she's wearing summer jammies- what a goof! Hope he has multi colored duct tape for this girls' wardrobe!! ha ha

::sigh:: I dont know how i am gonna catch up on this forum. I spent WAYYY too much time away from DF because of all the visiting festivities.

I was taking the girls out to Potty earlier and its only 45 here. Im bundled up to the gills and I thought of yall in the snow. I called myself a big sissy

I would LOVE to see the snow but after seeing a winter in yalls eyes..I have a newfound respect.
