Well that storm finally passed us, after dropping over a foot. There was 13" on my car, but that's in an exposed place where a lot of snow gets blown off. Kim's 23" tall at the shoulder and when we went out just now it was partway up her ribcage in the flat places (and knee height on 5'8" me)...some drifts were over her shoulders and midthigh on me LOL -- she looked so surprised when she inadvertently jumped in one 
So enjoy that storm 
It's absolutely beautiful though. We went hiking in the little wood behind our apartment and down by the river, and it's just breathtaking. I really wish I had a camera so I could share it all... |

Hey folks! Im back....HAD A BLAST!
Uncle Terry got holed up in a old cypress trunk by a gator That was the highlight of the evening.
We caught close to 320 Lbs of crawfish and boiled and ate till we couldnt handle nomore and Paran made some gumbo this afternoon for lunch. I came back today because I have to work tommorrow..Bah.
So....Whats going on peoples? | |

Your trip sounds like it was the best. Welcome back.
I swear we've had 5" of rain today. Everything is muddy and flooding. If it were snow we would be buried. | |

I hope the predictions are wrong and we're not going to get more snow.
All I want to do is get out into the yard and clean it up.... as Dieselsmama would say, I want to get the poop in a group..literally.

In other news, when asked directly the DH said that if we find a place in IL that allows us to have two dogs for a total of around 65 lbs, then he would most likely be in favor of adopting Skylar, pending meeting him of course. | |
