Wow R, you're right... I'm mad I missed all the fun.
I have a confession to make oh Divine Master.... I was so stressed that I came home and had a couple glasses of wine. Now, I'm the first to admit, I'm a cheap date. 2 glasses and I'm so ready for sleep. Which is exactly what I did. I just slipped out quietly and went to bed.
I'm going in today and tell them you said I can only work 10-12 and need a limo to take me back and forth. Somehow though I think it would be more like a tank or maybe even a C-5 instead of a limo.
I think this forum has a nasty little rodent that's lurking in the shadows giving everyone bad rep points. Your post was not at all deserving of negative points. Just a couple of weeks ago, I got a negative point for this thread - comment was 'total silliness'. My question is 'what the hell is wrong with being silly?'
Gotta go do that work thing. Catch you all later.
Shaina, go for it. He's adorable! |

Was it red or grey? If it's grey, then it's not a negative, it's just from someone who doesn't have enough rep points themselves to have an impact. |

One of those *busy* days at work... | Hey Jenn!!!
Had one of those days at work myself. Gotta go back and do it again tomorrow.
I really don't like working Saturdays, but it beats working the 2 nights a month we have 'extended hours' which can run past midnight... no thank you, not for me. |

| Re: Ever have one of those days..... Hi R!!!
Yes 'mission nights' do suck--- big time. That's why I always volunteer for Saturdays. Don't want to get voluntold I'm doing a mission.
Besides, Saturdays are overtime... missions are not unless they go beyond the scheduled 8 hours. (normally on a mission day, the late stay people come in at 10 or 11 am.)
I cannot wait to get away from this work schedule.
AND, if I'm lucky and things for once go in my favor, this will be my last Saturday working. |

| Re: Ever have one of those days..... Well we're officially in the middle of a blizzard, according to the national weather service. We've gone from bare grass this morning to 7-8" of snow so far, and it's supposed to continue until tomorrow afternoon...
Kim loved it though. We couldn't drive anywhere, or reach the bike path, so we just hiked around the wooded area near the apartment w/ her 50' lead. Too bad the camera's dead -- she has a great time attempted to burrow under the snow, tracking deer and rabbits, etc. Quote: |

In all fairness, we should probably figure out our housing options in Illinois before committing ourselves to a second dog. But this little guy is just perfect, and he's even local-ish. |

| Re: Ever have one of those days..... ARGH- you just made me think of something.
I plan on running my dogs tonight. For a 1 year old GSD and almost 2 year old Beagle- how FAR should I take them? Kody pulls a LOT! Like my hand is red when I get home and leash burnt- I tied a knot in it so I can control him better, and we stop and sit a LOT for him to calm down- he is always pulling ahead though. Except on the way home, he just trots next to me when its charted territory. Anywho- If we are running, we can cut the time down right? I usually do a 20 minute run, and I mix in some walking too. Im not as in shape as I thought. What do you guys suggest for my boys? And should i feed then AFTER we run or before? |

Maybe you can turn him around??? | I think if we find a place which allowed 2 medium-sized dogs without charging an arm and a leg, he would be much more open to it. To be honest, I can't really complain at the moment: I know that getting a second dog without finding a place to live first would be craziness.
Sad though. I mean, look at that face! |
