| Re: ***official*** NBA Playoffs Thread You will find that Boston teams never lay down and die. And this Celtic's team is full of talent.
The game is never over until the final buzzer. My son almost went to bed in disgust after the first quarter. He is really glad he stayed up until the end |

| Re: ***official*** NBA Playoffs Thread Last night this is true. But in the Super Bowl, the Pats were lulled to sleep by the Giants in the 4th, and it cost them their place in history. (This is coming from a VERY heartbroken Patriots fan). |

Could you imagine though, The Sox, The Celts, and the Pats in ONE year. All Bean town needs to do is get the Bruins turned around. |

| Re: ***official*** NBA Playoffs Thread I'm not a huge basketball fan, but I have jumped on the Celtics bandwagon. I'm obsessed with the Red Sox, so that takes up most of my free time .
I went out last night and watched the game and it was great! We were about to call it a night but stayed out and I'm kinda regretting it today (not as young as I used to be).
Anyways, may the best team win (Celtics!). |

| Re: ***official*** NBA Playoffs Thread damn! i was hoping for an even 40...oh well, a 39 point margin will just have to do.
ray allen deserves that ring after slumming it with the sonics for so long.
my grandmother is a very happy woman right now. she's been waiting since she was 66 for this to happen again. |

| Re: ***official*** NBA Playoffs Thread it was nice seeing people who actually played and know something about basketball in the seats at the Celtics games, instead of "celebs". Nice series...nice to see a team handle the business at hand and not ease up because they had it won early.
Congrats to the Celtics...it's great to win at home. The only mar on the Wings cup victory was it being on the road. Great to be surrounded by the fans when you win it all. Well done Celtics! |
