... the Bud Light "Dude" commercials. I think I'm too old to understand.

For those who don't know, it's a series of commercials where the only thing the guy says is "Dude" under a different set of circumstances each time. He says it about 10 times in each commercial. The most recent takes place in Las Vegas. A previous one was at a ballpark.

I just don't understand...

I think you need to have consumed several Bud Lights in order for it to make sense.

Perhaps that's the marketing ploy: people get so sick and tired of being baffled by the commercial that they go out and buy Bud Light just so they can attempt to understand it.

I strongly dislike the head on commercial

That is why I think it is funny that they made those new commercials where a guy or lady goes on and says how much they hate their commercial but the product is great. That also means that they know their commercial is irritating.

You say "Dude" When you are talking to someone for many reasons. I have said it many times. You can say it when you are excited, when you think something is ridiculous, even when you are disappointed. Dude is an all purpose word

I am SO glad I have CANADIAN satellite. Although HEAD ON has unfortunately infected Canada as well. Dude! What a bummer.

I don't even know what their product is supposed to do. If buying it means I'm supporting their commercials, then I don't really care.

As far as the "dude" beer commericials...I don't get them either. I think, maybe, that is the whole point of the commercials, to not make sense and just be funny. Not sure though...

Duuuude. In man speak a different inflection on the word dude has a different meaning. Why use flowery long sentences when you can say it all in a word?

From my younger days, I'm pretty sure you can vary "Dude" with

WASSSSSSSAAAAAAAAP!

And it's not a question. It's an expression of sheer coolness and love of beer.
