Locks of Love

Me and one of my friends were thinking about donating our hair to Locks of Love.

I am really really nervous about it because I don't want it to go too short. My hair is pretty long but donating the minimum length (10 inches) would get rid of a lot of it. It is such a good cause and it goes to some really deserving kids. I want to do it sooo bad and I will one day but I will do it sometime in the summer when it is hot and would fell good to have a short haircut. I would really like to know if anyone on this website has ever donated their hair to any organiztion or if you know anyone that has. Thanks for reading.

My friend donated about 12 and a half inches to Locks Of Love, and I was going to. I had my mind set on it, and then - being the blond that I am - got it stuck in one of those sticky fly trap strings that hang from ceilings!

When we had to cut about half of it off, and then it was to short to donate.

I hate those stupid traps!!!!!!!

Well, think about how long you want it to be. Then see how much you have to grow it out to donate. Remember, you don't have to do it right away. But that's awsome that you want to help someone!
