Kim, well...she's pretty unique in that she's not really any breed and has her own look going. A few days ago I was watching a few Westminster vids online when the DH came over to see what I was doing. I was explaining about conforming to standards and such when he asked if Kim has the "correct" coat color.
I think Mahalo wins the "most readily recognizable dog" award though... Durbkat: Here I was really hoping your real name was Durb
And Shalva: I do actually know a girl whose legal first name is Michael, so your theory isn't totally debunked (except for the pictures of himself he's posted)

Last I heard the little guy is still alive. | Hah I bet Ted and Snoopy would love each other..Although Ted is pretty ballsy from playing with the big dogs. He doesn't rough house like a 16 pound dog..he brings Buster down to the ground lol and beats up Duncan. So Snoopy would have to watch out! Quote:

Hey Shalva aka Stephanie. Great idea telling a bit more about yourself. I am kind of the same, I prefer one on one or small groups to loud crowds though I can get along alright in a crowd it is not as comfortable. I can be quiet though my friends might argue that point. I prefer quiet and often don't have any noise in the house at all. I think that is part of the reason I have the dog breed I do. Although my pup is a little yappy from time to time. I don't listen to the radio often or TV. Yup, I am boring. I actually like to sit around thinking. LOL Especially on a long quiet walk and I am close to Heaven in the country or the woods. I love it. All of that is with my dogs of course. | Besides the radio and TV that sounds like me. lol I'm a pretty quiet person and would rather just listen to what's going on around me. That's the one thing I like about going up to the lake. It's quiet and it's pretty much DOG time. I walk the whole time I'm not asleep and it's just great. Plus it's an area where there are a lot of dog people.
Funny story..
The lake house is on the corner of the street and has a front, side, and back door. The front has a big porch (where Ted sat on the swing) and the back has a little deck. Well the lady that owned the house before had a Choc lab that she bred with a choc lab down the street. I guess it was mating season for them because she had moved away and this poor fellow had no clue.
I was siting on the back deck one day and this male Cho lab (didn't know him at the time) ran up and pinned me in a mating position. Yeah; not the best place to be when a 80 pound lab is ready to go. I seriously couldn't get up until my aunt came out the door laughing at me. It was so embarrasing! He didn't look to pleased when I finally did get up. I guess I didn't satisfy him? I hooked him up to the leash I had inside and tied him to the post going up the stairs. He'd grab at me every time I walked by and I felt horrible, but was not going back for more. Sure enough we found his owner and told him the whole story..He looked embarrased too and we took him to the dog. I can honestly say that's something I wont forget for a while lol.
Yep a day in the like of Teddie's mommy..haha

Shaina, did you tell your DH that Kim has the perfect coat color for her breed? She does and it is beautiful! |

Just kidding Durb. | Oh you know it, my street name is candy!
Shalva, what made you think I was a girl? For me since I'm a guy I assume that everyone is a guy.
Shaina, durb is the first 4 letters of my last name.

I told him that Kim is a perfect example of her breed's standard in every way, because she's the only one in it By that time he had figured it out and was laughing at himself, haha
Durb, I think you need to go by Candy from now on . And what's up with the "kat"? You do know this is DOGforums, right? (Methinks he's a CatForum spy!) |

| Re: would we like each other? I've met up with people from my parenting forum before. Very cool, we had a good time. I'd probably like alot of you, but if any of you saw me out with my dogs you'd probably wonder who that person was with the out of control shelties. Ya'll would be on the forum the next day going, "Omg, I saw this lady with these shelties, and they were barking like crazy and trying to jump on me as I passed by. Rude! Then they dragged her down the road by the leashes. She needs to get a freakin clue and train her dogs! Omg!"
And I'm Stacey.... |

| Re: would we like each other? OK Inga, are you really a guy? If you are, my picture of you has to change big time. I know for sure that I would like you. I tend to get along with guys better than girls and you are one kind and sensitive guy. Wow, you sound as great as my husband |
